She ran out holding her tears not able to bear his silence. He doesn't like..her.. he definitely thinks bad about her. All this innumerable painful awful thoughts played in her mind. She hated herself. The only person she fell for can't even stand her sight. Her mere existence made no sense now. She hated herself. .. she couldn't bare to see those eyes not looking at her. Though she always knew they were never for her. But still his not talking to her, avoiding her hurt her.. aapne hi nazron main ghir gayen ho mano.

When she came back home rano made sure she had dinner & took care of her health. Geet sobed silently sitting on her bed.. longing to speak to him.. she took the phone.. 100 times.. dialed his number.. but couldn't get the courage to press the dial button. She looked at his snaps & cried. ..complained to baby why dad was not taking to her..avoiding her..
am I so bad...

she looked at her couple of times in the mirror.. am I so bad looking

rano came in with glass of milk.
Geet immediately looked away from the mirror.
Rano took out heavy red silk saree.
Geet ' yeh kya hain mama
rano ' kal naam karan main yehi phena
Geet ' lekin main kaisen?
Rano ' tum hi tho baby ko gaud main rahko ghi na
Geet ' sab ke samne kaisen mama?
Rano hugged her tightly ..she couldn't be proud enough of her daughter.. how all the while she is fighting with her own emotions.. & not once failing in keeping up the family name..
rano ' main ne granthi ji se baad karli hain

rano ' Maan beta bhi kuch nahi kahega
Geet almost cried.. he never says anything
rano actually could feel her little princesses in love with her own husband. She chuckled.
Rano wiped her tears ' kya huwa Maan ne kuch kaha kya?
Geet shook her said ' he doesn't talk to me.. she complained innocently

rano was confused.. & lost.
Geet slept in her lap the whole night crying.

Next day rano dressed her up dearly. She had specially got the saree made for her. She made a matching dress for the little prince with the same material. Rano dropped geet at Maan's flat & went to the gurudwar to check the arrangements.

Geet didn't know if Maan would be there or would have left. Her heart missed several beats when she saw him opening the door even before she knocked. He stood mesmerized looking at her in red saree.. reminding his confession... He couldn't take his eyes off those beautiful eyes... that had so many questions.. his gaze travelled from top to bottom.. she felt a shiver run through her just with his gaze. She knotted her pallu & looked down. He so much wanted to stop looking ..he just couldn't. Take ur eyes off.. he was commanding himself... like was no one to hear.. them.

She like froze their. Glued to the door steps. She didn't know whether he liked to see her like that .. or was he shocked. She couldn't look back into his eyes now. She so much wanted to see admiration but was frightened to see something else.

They both stood their for it seemed like eternity. Geet finally got the courage to step inside the door. He didn't even move away from her way. She walked in few steps.. expecting him to move.. he fluttered his eyes & kept looking at her.

she realized.. he was avoiding her.. & probably didn't want to talk to her... she took a deep breath & walked straight to the room. Maan just followed her. She placed the baby's dress on the table.

Geet slowly took out a sherwani for Maan that she had secretly brought for him.

he silently took it & went to change. He cursed himself in the mirror.. stop staring at her. Aisen mat kar wo chali jaygi.. he felt like punching himself ' he punched the wall in frustration ..geet got really worried hearing all the sounds from the washroom.

She shot a quick prayer to babaji.. wo phir se naraz hogeyen kya.
Before she could react.. baby got up. She smiled & lifted him in her arms.. she kissed his nose.. his eyes.. his forehead.. baby looked at her dress in awe.. it was bright color.. she smiled seeing his reaction.
merin baby ka pasand hain mama ka saree
he chuckled..
naani ne baby ke liyen bhi banvaya hain
& showed the kurthi to the baby.
She leaned close to the baby.. pata nahi aapke papa ko pasand aaya ki nahi..
she scribed.. kuch nahi kaha
baby gave a puzzled look
I mean at least aacha hain.. yah .. atleast acknowledge karna chaiyen na.. papa ne kuch nahi kiya.
She turned her lips down.. & cutely opened her blouse helping the baby to feed.
She spoke her heart out to baby while turning baby to the other side to feed.

Maan just walked in
Geet.. teehk hain kya

she was terrified.. shocked.. embarrassed..

Maan stood their ..not knowing how to pretend further that he didn't know she actually was breast feeding their baby.

Million thoughts flashed in her mind.. wat will he think abt her..
how she able to feed.. ?
how is lactating?
Will he believe if she said she had an accident & all this..
wat will he think abt her character.. ?
Will he ever talk to her?
Will he ever trust her?
She closed her eyes & tears just flooded.
Maan immediately turned his back.. unsure..he walked out. He wanted to kill himself to have walked in like this into the room. How could he put her in such a corner. She might be feeling so embarrassed. He pushed his hair behind pacing restlessly in the hall.

Geet cried lifting the baby & patting him in her shoulder.. he unknowingly wiped her tears & drew his lips on her cheeks. She cried more hugging him. How will I explain all this to ur dad.. even if he didn't hate me..until now.. now he will.. she was so terrified.

Geets phone rang continuously. She was in a shock to respond to anything. Maan came in.. looking down. He saw the number..it was mama. He gave it to her.. mama ka phone hain
she held the baby close to her.. like she feared he may take her baby away.
Maan sighed & answered the call.
Rano ' tum log kab taak aa rahen ho?
Maan - hum bas nikal rahen hain mama ji
rano ' Maan beta.. sab teehk hain na?
Maan ' ji mama sab teehk hain

it was more for Geet he said that.. he wanted to say that to her..but didn't know how.

Geet quietly changed baby's dress & carried him. Maan wanted to help her..but her uncertain gestures scared him.
