For those who want to know what is Onam...
Onam is the biggest and the most important festival of Kerala.It is a harvest festival and is celebrated with joy and enthusiasm,According to the popular legend the festival is celebrated to,welcome king Mahabali,whose spirit is said to visit Kerala during Onam.
People of Kerala make elaborate arrangements to celebrate this festival.They make intricately designed flower mats called Pookalam and prepare a grand feast called Onasadya.đ
Our forum has quite a few Keralites who also happen to be our very good friends and wonderful human beings,so let us take this as an oppurtunity to wish them...the one's whom I know are...
