RADHIKA..KANHA'S DOOTH for DEV
We will always remember Dev & Radhika's "Saat Janamo ka bandhan" which Lord Kanha has created. Only RaDev will be remembered & will remain in our hearts forever. Element of CB is & will be RaDev. It starts with them & ends with them. In between many more may come & go.
This is my POV & my attempt to bring forward Radhika as a DOOTH from Kanha, his true devotee, to bring forward the lost identity of an innocent woman Chhaya whose rights were taken away as mother & a wife by so called religious norms. Radhika is the instrumental in bringing forward the secret of Dada's callous behavior towards his son Hari & his wife Chhaya, in the name of "dharma'.
Hari & Chhaya were separated by 'dharmisht' RP and met again by Kanha's leela.
A justice was served to Chhaya by Kanha by bringing little angel DEV in her life. Hari's death brought together RP & Chhaya. RP to rectify the unjust done to his son by him, brought little angel as an orphan, to his home to be brought up under his influence, & in secrecy from the world, knowing very well that if the secret of his son's first marriage was out, his refusal to accept their marriage will tarnish his name. By placing that little angel in his own home by his own dada, another justice was served to Chhaya. But then RP made another grave mistake by separating a mother & her son. So now little Dev's journey began from here.
Kanha brought another angel on earth name Radhika who would be instrumental in bringing out Dev's identity.
Rd an orphan was brought up by a weaver Mansaram & his wife Shanti, a loving father but 'unloving' mother. On one special occasion, Kanha started his leela, everything started to fall in its place, like domino effect. Because Rd was an orphan, there was an exchange of "chundri", bec Shanti did not want Rd to attend mela" sent her to mill, & bec millman wanted to repair his mill, sent Rd to 'mela' on some errand, bec Rd "chundri" was blue, she was chosen to play Radha-Rani in Raasleela. Bec BB had spoiled Virat, he being a brat, made Rohan not to play Kanha, & so our "chotu" Dev became Krishna-Kahnaya. & our Radha-Krishna become a divine JODI. So on the auspicious day, Shanti sent Rd on an errand, which led her to 'mela' where Rd met Dev again. While trying to dry Rd's wet chundri, they ended up where the marriage ceremony was being performed, & both were bonded by 'pavitra bandhan' for seven lives only bec the other couple could not attend the wedding. Only bec Virat's father asked pandit to add more loudspeakers so the whole Rawal can hear the wedding mantras, bec of that noise, pandit was not able to stop Rd & Dev marriage.
Because BB overheard some conversation about the WILL between RP & his lawyer, BB pushed RP from the steps in anger & RP went into the coma. If this had not have happened, Dev's identity would have been out by RP bec of the prophecy of K. Maharaj & that could have put Dev's life in danger. He would not have been accepted by his family & his life would have become hell. So after their marriage, Kanha's DOOTH Rd protected him by putting 'sindoor' on Kanha's 'charan' everyday & the yrs passed on.
Bec BB thought Rohan will be next RP on his 23rd B'day, she kept RP alive. Even though everybody treated him as a servant; he was being fully trained as RP without anybody's knowledge. This is another justice for Chhaya from Kanha. Dev & Rd first meeting: bec Rohan wanted to avoid a girl in talent contest, pushed Dev to take his place, & Dev's 'madhur sangeet' from Kanha's 'bansuri' pulled Rd to Dev. Rd's fleeting blue 'chunri' somehow unknowingly brought back the dormant memory 'blue chunri' of that auspicious day of their childhood life. If Shanti had not objected Rd to go by herself to 'gurukul', Mansaram had to send Chanda with Rd, if Chanda had not taken a ride from that young man, Rd would not have gone looking for Chanda, Dev would not have seen her blue 'chunri', & Rd would not have missed her boat. If that evening BB had not sent Dev for errand, Dev & Rd would have missed their first memorable encounter.
Dev had invited Rd to Holi, she didn't want to go thinking as she already is married, it is sin to think about another man, but Kanha had already had started his leela. Kanha found a reason for her to attend the Holi, & to avoid Dev she was put into a situation where BB saw her & as she was looking for a meek wife for Rohan who can stay under her influence, forced Mansaram for her hand. Even though Rd was attracted to Dev, she would have stopped & avoided meeting Dev, & she would have never found out that Dev is her Krishna-Kahnaya, her husband. It was necessary for her to get engage to Rohan which lead her to find about who had played Kahnaya on special day. It was necessary for her to enter PH, so she can cure dada, & to know about BB's mistreatment of dada for many yrs. If dada was not cured, Dev's secret would never have come out in open. And another justice was served by Kanha for Chhaya by Dev's identity in open.
So Radhika is a real DOOTH from Kanha to establish Dev's real identity to his family to the world……And she still is doing her duty as a DOOTH, protecting Dev…& fighting for him…in the end, Dev the protected, will fight for his protector, Radhika.
