I have answered some comments on pg 124 and 125….sorry could not reply to all. But one question seems to be across so I want to reply to it here…..Geet is a ruthless businesswoman who loves her family unconditionally…..this family includes Maan and hence there is no question of sacrifice….my Geet is a brave girl and will fight like a sherni for her man

Chapter 48 – Makhane ki Kheer

Rishab – "Are Nisha aaj to sab kuch mera favorite hai"

Juhi – "This is very wrong Nisha…sab kuch tumne Rishab aur Maan ka favorite banaya hai…jaisa baap waisa beta"

Maan - "jal kyon rahi ho mom…wow bhindi and shahi paneer…love you Badi Ma"

Nisha – "are baba aaj ka menu maine nahin decide kiya hai…aaj Sunday tha to Geet took charge of kitchen."

Maan was already playing footsie with Geet and she was really flustered and worried Maan looked at her with his dreamy eyes – "Sach Geet…yeh tumhara menu hai…thanks for caring so much"

Geet gave a forced smile – "No thanks Dr Khurana…yeh sab Bauji ka favorite hai isliye bana hai…samjhe"

Maan was loving her anger flushed cheeks and removed his leg. Geet sighed but as soon as she felt relief her eyes widened in shock and she almost choked. She glanced at Maan who was happily eating food. She then looked down at his other hand which was on her knees and caressing it sensually.

Geet stifled a moan. Thankfully Naintara who was sitting opposite to Maan intervened before she could loose all her sanity - "Seriously Maan you like all this oily and rich food…I heard you like continental as well…I will cook something continental for you tomorrow"

Maan frowned – "No need Naintara…I am busy tomorrow and I guess you will be gone by next weekend"

Naintara did not like his response a bit but there wasn't much she could say.

Everyone finished main course and Nakul cleared the table. He got the desert out. Rishab's eyes twinkled as he saw it – "Makhane ki Kheer!!!"

Maan – "Seriously Dad…Oh there is nothing in this world better than chilled kheer"

Rishab grinned hi-fing with Raj– "it is warm Dr Khurana…my favorite"

Maan - "Oh Ok…well that's my second best favorite"

Geet – "Nahin nahin wait…Nakul"

Nakul – "Ji Didi"

Nakul got another bowl – "Thandi kheer bhi hai chote sahib ke liye"

Nisha – "Kya baat hai Geet…aaj to sab kuch apne Bauji aur Maan ke liye…hmmm"

Geet – "Woh kya hai na Mom, bechare Maan ki date miss ho gayi apni girl friend ke saath to maine socha kuch khaas hi banaya jai"

Everybody laughed out. Maan just gave a knowing look to Geet.

Rishab called Nakul – "Nakul aaj khana bahut acha tha….especially yeh Kheer"

Nakul – "Thanks sir…lekin aaj saari sabji Geet Didi ne banayi hai…humne to bas help ki…aur especially kheer to puri Didi ne hi banayi hai"

Everyone looked at admiration in Geet. Rishab remembered the comment Naintara had made yesterday about Geet's cooking.

Rishab – "Dekha Naina beta….humari Geet kitna acha khana banati hai"

Naintara just gave a smile.

Maan – "Kya Dad…bas tariff se hi kam chalaoge…I think Geet deserves a gift for such a lovely desert"

Rishab – "I agree but abhi to mere paas kuch bhi nahin"

Geet – "Kya Bauji aap bhi na…stop it Maan…you are embarrassing me"

Maan was enjoying each and every spoon of the delicious kheer. He picked up the bowl for his third serving but it was all finished. Rahul sniggered and made fun at his greediness.

Rahul – "Bas kar yaar…Geet phir bana degi"

Maan was happily scraping the bowl clean – "Hmmm…."

Geet's heart flowered at his unsaid appreciation. She looked away as she was getting teary. She abruptly got up to go to kitchen. As she neared the door she heard Naintara - "Actually, I found it just ok. I still have some left. Why don't you share it with me Maan if you really need some more?"

Maan was stunned. He looked at Geet with desperation in his eyes. No way in hell was he going to eat from the same bowl as Naintara.

Geet came to Naintara – "Sach Naina…cool actually then I will take some as I didn't even get to taste it…yeh baap bete ne milkar puri Kheer khatam kar di before even I could taste it."

Maan thanked Geet with his eyes while Naintara fumed at her.

Wednesday 9:30 PM

Everyone had just finished dinner when Maan entered KM with a package in his hand.

Raj – "Are Maan…you just missed dinner beta"

Maan – "Koi na bade pa, I will have it in few minutes"

Nisha – "Maan what do you have in your hand…did one of you patient give you a gift?"

Maan smiled – "No badi ma, this is for Geet"

Geet looked surprised. "Yeh Maan bhi na, sab ke saamne pata nahin kya karte rehte hain"

Chaiyiji - "Geet ke liye!!!"

Maan – "Haan aunty, Sunday ki Kheer ke liye…Dad to bhul gaye so maine socha I should do the honors…isi bahane phir se khaane ko to milegi"

He came to Geet and gave the package to her.

Annie – "Cool Bro…sach aap Kheer ke liye kuch bhi kar sakte ho…Di khol ke dikhao what my darling bhai has got for you"

Geet smiled – "Iski zaroorat nahin thi Maan"

Maan – "I know Geet, gift ki zaroorat kabhi bhi nahin hoti….that is why it is a gift not a need"

Geet opened the parcel as Pari and Annie looked at her excitedly. Naintara just sat looking bored with the commotion going in the house. She had no idea why all were so excited for a mere gift.

She unwrapped a box and removed the lid with slight anticipation. She removed the tissue paper and gasped.

Pari – "Wow!!!"

Juhi – "Are kya hai bhai humein bhi dikhao"

Geet just looked at the box with a stunned expression. She said a little emotionally – "it is beautiful Maan but so much…"

Maan smirked – "You dare not say a word….What should be the gift is up to the person who gives it…Moreover it is nothing in front of you…after all meri aur dad ki bhi reputation is at stake or not"

Rishab – "Haan Haan …off course"

Nisha – "Are bhai ab jaan legi kya…hai kya dikha na"
