It is disappointing to see that not a single post either here or on Facebook has shown any support or compassion for the character of Taali. In fact a number of people are bitter, rude and lacking even in an iota of compassion for this character. It's rather disappointing to say the least.
Taali is an orphan girl who has been raised in a household where she has not been welcomed by her adoptive grandmother and father. Her adoptive mother, Sudha, and aunt, Gulaal, are the only two people who have shown her in concern as well as Kesar. Yet, it is two of these people who have broken her heart; Gulaal by making her believe that Kesar would marry her and Kesar for leading her own to the point he was ready to take 7 pheres with her.
Rather than see Taali turn into a bitter and vengeful person - remember she refused to see Kesar punished - she is determined to unite Kesar and Gulaal. That's a very generous act and one that is very admirable. She has also remained composed whenever she has spoke with Kesar and has been very forgiving to Gulaal despite her mother's hurt and anger towards what Gulaal has done.
I would have hoped to see some compassion for this character but instead I have encountered some bitter and hateful posts - even to the point of getting rid of this character? If anything makes this show worth watching it is her character who has, despite a young age, been written to show such a high level maturity in handling her losses. I hope to see Taali's character get some justice and redemption for her losses. I also would like to see Kesar and Gulaal bear some consequences for what they have done to Taali.
Unfortunately, I know the writers of this story will destroy this character by suggesting she marry her uncle Dushant; after all - even though he is old enough to be her father.

If Kesar had married Thalli, she would have become the real victim who got trapped in a loveless marriage. She is a nice girl and deserves someone who can really love her.

you want kesar and gulaal to bear some consequences naa...
both of them are also not happy.
if she married kesar, then her whole life will be ruined. because kesar can only think about gulaal, if some consequences comes he will support only gulaal, by this each and every day she has to suffer a lot.
As you said she is a orphan, she need a love, which kesar cant give.

I agree with your post and want to rest your fears that talli is hated and not appreciated by everyone, yes I have written some negative comments about this character in the heat of an episode, namely the drawning of the wedding, but I do see her growth in to a mature and senisible character, which if she had not had the trauma of the wedding rejection would never have happened, how many signs did she let fly over her head, even direct ones, that kesar did not nor would ever love her. Its one think to nurture a childhood given dream and another to ignore the pebbles being thrown at it, kesar, without truly thinking about it had to shatter her delusion for her character to grow. Before that she was just annoying.
I dont personally think talli would/will marry dushant, because he might be harbouring thoughts of gulaal after her 3 month release, believeing possiblily that he is a changed man and could win her this time, plus you have jamna baa ans her own suda maa, who knows of dushants feelings for gulaal. I hope they bring a new character for talli or what about kesars friends??? the possibility is endless.
Gulaal is my favorate seriel not just because of gulaal and kesar romance but because the CVs look after ALL there characters, each gets story time, a chance to shine and a chance to grow, with the exception of raman 😆.

1) Her name is not TAAli i.e CLAP...her name is TALLI.

2) Gulaal is most definitely not her AUNT and neither is Dushyant her UNCLE😆...Where exactly has this ever been mentioned in the show? I'm trying to recall an incident where "Taali" as you call her has referred to Gulaal as KAAKI...has she?? Please do enlighten me then.

Theres a reason for people not talking about Talli. We do show our thoughts and sympathy now and then. But hey...

This shows name is not Talli its GULAAL. So obviously the plot line and our thoughts will always be based on Gulaal and Kesar. Talli is a secondary based character.

Well just like you have your opinions on KG, others can express their dislike towards Talli :) However, I think your topic has come at the wrong time because recently Talli's character has been appreciated.

The writers have been most sympathetic towards her actually so it's not like none of us understand what she has been through but at the same time the main attraction of the show is Gulaal and Kesar's story (whether you approve of them or not) hence its only natural for viewers to get miffed with any 3rd angle.

I quite agree with all your view points but she has some faults too that can not be ignored.

Firstly, she dreamt the dream of others but not of her own.

Seconduy, She knew that Kesar did not reciprocate her feelings yet she hanged around him getting hurt on her own choice.

Thirdly, She knew that Kesar was married to Gulaal, yet still harbour the dream to getting married with him. Lets say Kesar has brought girlfriend from city, how she would react then. That is possibility she must think. How can she think that he will be come single and she will snatch him at first chance?
Its just Gulsar were destined to be together thus Kesar fell in love with his wife.

Fouthly, She knew Kesar did not loved her, yet went ahead with marriage proposal without even reading Kesar's loveletter she stole

Fifthly, she got chunar from Gulaal knowing that It was not meant for her as Kesar has told him clearly. How can you be so lost and wear chunar as his gift as he did not hand him the gift at all? She did not even think about her respect for taking away gift not given?

Finally, Kesar did make mistake of getting married to her but did save her from loveless marriage if marriage went ahead. In some way, kesar stopped himself from great mistake that would end up hurting her even more.

Gulaal has been selfishly misused her and Kesar for own purpose though she may think it is genuine for her.

So she is not only victim of others' choice but of her own choice too. But I do have sympathy for her that her mother sudha did not properly look after her and forced her into loveless marriage without second thoughts knowing she herself was suffering from loveless marriage for many years.
