I agree with your points that Talli is a victim here, and I wince every single time Gulaal tries to give her false hope about Kesar. Its just not fair to Talli, and Jamna's behavior towards this innocent orphan is quite sad, but that is Jamna's nature, she is like that with everyone except for her own flesh and blood so her words do not cause much sympathy.

Coming to Talli's situation, her character has been portrayed as very annoying, yes she has matured and loves Kesar, but she started off as being extremely annoying which is why its hard to sympathize with her. In addition, she harbored the desire to marry a married man despite knowing full well that he doesn't love her at all just one night before Kesar agreed to marry her. I chalk it up to her innocence and blame Sudha and Gulaal. But the misbehavior towards her is good in a way - Talli is too innocent, too spoiled by Gulaal and Sudha, too immature. She needs to become strong and mature, and weave her own dreams rather than the ones Gulaal feeds her. These situations have made her stronger and more mature, and for once she is thinking for herself.

But yes, it is difficult to sympathize with the character because the CVs have not focused much on her character development and showing the sad side of her story. They have just shown her as a spoiled brat. The CVs have focused much more on Kesar's angst so everyone feels more for him, plus Neil is a very good actor.

Seriously, one of my biggest pet peeves. Bollywood only represents of a few cultures in its portrayal of rituals. It does not translate to all of India.

But back to the pheras. He truly wasn't ready to take the pheras, was he? Because he never thought about it. As he heard the pheras and its meanings and significance, it clicked in his head. If he truly had been ready to take the pheras, he would have done it.

As for Talli, I have nothing against her. Not everyone is a Talli hater.

i agree with u but the way u are putting TALLI'S side as the dejected poor girl, i think is wrong because she may be an orphan, but how many orphans get a person like GULAAL who without thinking even a minute takes her home, where she is nurtured like an own child given all possible facilities most importantly the privilege of education, everybody specially gulaal just treating her like a princess. one more thing is that she may have nurtured a childhood dream abt kesar all gulaal's fault but why didn't she ever think abt gulaal's future where she clearly knows that kesar is gulaal's husband and gulaal has been living a life as good as hell with no one beside her, isn't that selfish and as far as gulaal and kesar's suffering is concerned they have gone through enough for these past 10-12 years now their life needs some good moments. we dnt hate her but just dnt like her with kesar. kesar may have left her in the mandap but he still loves her like a friend despite of knowing that she's one of the reason why gulaal couldn't accept him. i am telling u again nobody hate's TALLI she has of course taken a lot of pain and is probably the only person who is in complete control but honestly TALLI-KESAR just not happening.

Her adoptive mother and aunt, Gulaal, are the only two people who have shown her in concern as well as Kesar. we cant force anyone to love a person...actually JK dont love her and her adopted papaji was in jail (btw these two ppl dont love anyone they dont love kesu gullu motapa panba their own hubby and wifey respectively ...) rest of the memeber happily accepted her they are concerned they help her with her education they provide her food shelter clothes showered their love and now they are planning for her marrige like their own daughter and y should they build false hope to marry their son rest of the family members are correct Yet, it is two of these people who have broken her heart; Gulaal by making her believe that Kesar would marry her and Kesar for leading her own to the point he was ready to take 7 pheres with her. kesu and gullu already apologized and talli forgive them...afterall its nobody fault we cant love with choices and morever kabhi kabhi brains ka use kar lena chahiye...in childhood kid is given the false promise of fairies santa clauz prince in white horse chandamama...ab talli childhood k false promise se bahar nahi aayi to isme kesu and gullu kya kare...talli should confronted kesu about her realtionship...but she never did she lived in her la la land inspite reciveing a cold behaviour from kesu ...so saying that gullu kesu is at fault is not correct all three were nuts and they are now paing for this...

Rather than see Taali turn into a bitter and vengeful person - remember she refused to see Kesar punished - she is determined to unite Kesar and Gulaal. That's a very generous act and one that is very admirable. She has also remained composed whenever she has spoke with Kesar and has been very forgiving to Gulaal despite her mother's hurt and anger towards what Gulaal has done. we will be grateful and make the appreciation post if this sar par bani musibaaat do a marriage or go abroad for higher education...

I would have hoped to see some compassion for this character but instead I have encountered some bitter and hateful posts - even to the point of getting rid of this character? If anything makes this show worth watching it is her character who has, despite a young age, been written to show such a high level maturity in handling her losses. I hope to see Taali's character get some justice and redemption for her losses. I also would like to see Kesar and Gulaal bear some consequences for what they have done to Taali. she got the recognition ...u know there are lots of angels who live here in serenity and comes up with apppreciation post plz search it urself...

Unfortunately, I know the writers of this story will destroy this character by suggesting she marry her uncle Dushant; after all - even though he is old enough to be her father. chi chi chi first they planned her to get marry to her very own brother (kesu brother hua naa) and now uncle...hey bhagwaan world is going to dogs i tell u...😛

Whose fault was not to read Kesar's letter when Talli had got it way before the marriage was fixed. may be at that time her brain was sleeping ..blame it on Gulaal

She hears the kesar does not love her, cannot love her..and next day when he accepts for marriage...ur brain again stops working ..blame it on Kesar

Here no one is right or wrong. Gulaal had always thought good about Talli. She never in her dreams had thought of ruining her life. Secondly about Kesar's decision to get married to Talli..well as Talli was blind in love with Kesar so was Kesar. If kesar did a mistake then so do did Talli. In the end Kesar atleast did not mary for Talli' sake only...

Yes Talli's heart was broken , so was Kesar and so was Gulaal's ..so in my opinion all three of them are vicitim of their own decision..and people connect more with Gulaal and Kesar because eventually it is their story. "Kahani Talli ki" is for next season 😳

Well all 3 Talli,Gulaal and Kesar have their own share of griefs and while Talli has been unfortunate to go through all this, neither gulaal nor kesar have tried to hurt her on purpose 🤔

Arti, Your post sadly does reek of someone who is one of those compassionless people. It basically repeats over and over again that Taali better suck up and bear the consequences of what has happened. In no part of your post do we see any wrong doing and the slight acknowledgement is brushed aside with the "O, they apologized" and let's forget what happened. You have completely MISSED the point but that was expected.

And this CHI CHI CHI, where is this when you we watch Kesear doing the horizontal tango with his sister-in-law and Yashoda Gulaal? Mmm? Or are you more into these kinds of relationships? Sounds rather hypocritical. 🤗

But the point is, they hurt her and that's something and she is entitled to some redemption.

HOW did Taali make a mistake? She did nothing wrong but love someone and when he denied that he was not in love with her, he came back and convinced her that he was, so what is her fault? She was in love. Is she not entitled to love? NO, the only heart broken here is Taali's since she was the only one technically loved someone who was at least appropriate for her and her love was the most sincere. At least she, unlike Kesaer, did not harress or torment the one she loved.
