Preparing to shoot a Pakistani sitcom in Dubai, actor Shraddha Nigam is not ready for marriage yet.
You have been lying low for a while. Why?
I have been in the industry for a while now. You reach a time when you don't feel like doing the same things again and again. That's why I have taken a break now. My parents are also with me in Mumbai and I am enjoying my sabbatical with them. But I will be working for a sitcom, tentatively titled 'Forget The Nazakhat' for a Pakistani channel. I will be going to Dubai soon for the shooting. It traces the life of four friends who stay there.
Tell us something about your experience with rats in 'Fear Factor'.
It was bizarre! I am paranoid about them. So I never thought I would be able to manage something like this. But I did clear three rounds by separating white rats from the black ones when all of them were over my body!
Dubai is a great shopping centre. Are you excited about it?
Definitely yes! How can a girl go to Dubai and return back without shopping? But that is not my top priority. I am very interested in scuba diving and want to procure a license while I am there.
Are you a foodie?
I am crazy about Thai food. Since I work odd hours and have to watch my weight, I prefer home-cooked food. I love non vegetarian dishes and Indigo is my favourite restaurant.
What about marriage?
Marriage is a very big decision. You can't just rush into it and hope that everything will fall into place. It requires a lot of commitment and time.
