The business paper was handed in to her lecturer now Pia could get the hell out of here. she decided to walk all the way home. Inside Pia could feel the storm within her building up. The rsuh of emotions were too strong for her to control. When she was with Abhay it felt as if she couldn't get enough of him but then he'd kept his distance from her probably due to what happened between them. He doesn't want a repeat. He still blamed himself for her bruises. Then with her friends she'd felt overly protective. They were all suffocating her and the odd occasions she'd been left alone she'd felt alive. Pia's anger seemed to have the same effect. It was heightened to a point she wanted to strangle her father. Then there was Sid. He just made her blood boil but for some reason she couldn't help feel sorry for him. Pia had hoped she could change Sid and unite the warring brothers. It was a woman who'd come between them then why not a woman bring them together again. Was it too much to ask for a vampire to mend their ways? Would Sid be willing to do it? Or was it just wishful thinking? Maithali was his sore point. She was the only person Sid would probably listen to. Pia knew how much Maithali had detested Sid's bad qualities and still held him accountable for their current state. Pia found herself drawn towards a path she normally doesn't take. It was an instantaneous pull she'd felt she'd have to take. There was someone there. Pia was certain of it. A woman with long hair. Pia moved towards her until she came to a stop. A gust of wind blew the other person's hair revealing her face to her. It was Maithali. The girl was going to have a long life.

Maithali found Pia just as fascinating to watch as ever before-Hello Pia! I was hoping to see U but i didn't think it would be this soon. How are U my friend?

Pia hugged Maithali-Confused. Mystified and above all tired. How does that do U? I've missed U so much. Ever since you've left i find myself very disorientated. Like part of me is missing. I can't believe U are in front of me after a month nearly. We never got to meet face to face. So how did U find me?

Maithali let out a laugh-I don't know how i found U but somehow we've been drawn to each other Pia. Like magnets i suppose. U and I kind of feel the same way then. I suppose my memories have had this effect on U. I've missed U too Pia.

Pia wondered-Do U have my memories as well?

Maithali nodded-It's like we've lived each others life. In a way we have. How is he Pia?

Pia smiled sweely-Abhay's doing great apart from becoming my full time bodyguard.

Maithali braced herself-Is there something i need to know Pia? Are U both in any immediate danger? I've been getting a distressed call from U. It's like a psychic connection we have.

Pia couldn't delay this news and blurted out the truth-Sid's back and he wants vengeance. He's lost it.

Maithali let out sigh-I knew this fool would resurface again. Has he seen Abhay yet? Has Abhay come face to face with his brother Pia?

Pia-No. I've managed to keep them apart.I don't know how long i can keep doing this. Sid's been waiting for a way to get to Abhay. He knows i'm his weak point.

Maithali swore under her breath.-He is a bigger idiot than i gave him credit for. Sid's going to hinder my chance at being free. He mustn't face Abhay. He has the potential to kill him Pia. U don't know how evil he is. U haven't seen the lengths he'll go htorugh just to hurt Abhay. I never saw it coming till it was too late. Don't make the same mistake as i did Pia. U can't trust him My memories should be proof itself. Trust in nobody but Abhay.

Pia was taken back by Maithali's brash words against Sid-But U used to trust him once upon a time. Surely U can't...

Maithali was now very worried about Pia-Don't make the mistake of assuming U can fix the beast Pia. He is beyond repair. After what he did to us Pia i can never forgive him. He broke my trust in him and on his values. He was ridden with a demonic mind in his human days Pia as a vampire what do U think will have happened to these traits? U have a good heart Pia. I know U are probably torn by my memories and by Abhay's hence U want to unite these brothers. I'm warning U as a friend and as a soul sister not to risk your life because Abhay will die without U. I can't let Abhay suffer.

Pia took Maithali's words seriously-U still love Abhay. I still love Abhay. We are both prepared to do anything for him then why did U leave us? I could have walked away and let U both be together.

Maithali's heart skipped a beat-It wouldn't work Pia. I'm not human, Nor is he. We are both dangerous to each other. Why should U leave Abhay. U have every right over him. Fate has played a twisted game on the three of us and i will never come in the way of Abhay's love. U may have come in his life last but U have staked claim in Abhay's heart. Right now my place is with my people. They need me more than Abhay will ever need me. I know he is in good hands with U Pia. If i would want Abhay to be with anyone else other than myself it would be with U. Not because U look like me although it is a bonus but because U are a noble person with a heart of gold.

Pia pried keeping Maithali's eyes locked with hers-Are U in trouble?

Maithali was honest-U know how there's this curse i have been working on to break well i've found everything i need Pia and it involves U as one of the key ingredients. Don't worry your life isn't in danger but we need a little of your blood. We are both lookalikes and magically bound to the other Pia. I didn't want to ask but its the only way to free my people.

Pia trusted Maithali-Take as much as U want. If it means U are free then i'm up for it.

Maithali's eyes went cold-We also need both Abhay and Sid and a witch.

Pia's eyes flew wide open-This is a recipe for disaster. I can get Abhay there. Maybe even Sid but in what condition i can't say. I have two witches to choose from so you're all set. When is this happening?

Maithali-Next week. The full moon's coming up. Are U sure U are OK? Your face is so pale Pia.

Pia murmured softly-I'm feeling nauseous. I've had it a while now. If Abhay finds out i still have it i won't hear the end of it. I kind of ditched him with Misha.

Maithali responded back-I bet he wasn't happy about it. If memory serves me right he's probably working towards getting U back. I have to dash now. I haven't told anyone where i'd gone off to.

Sid took his opportunity to capitalise on Pia being alone with a strange girl. He grabs Pia startling her a little. She watches' Sid carefully trying to decipher his state of mind. She sure knew when to get into these precarious moments. If she showed fear then Abhay would fly by and she needed to keep both brothers at bay. Pia moved towards Sid smiling back at him. Then she touched his face with her fingers. He caught her hand tightening his hold on her. Sid wanted Pia to scream but the girl was either crazy or just thought he was some novice at terrorizing humans.

Sid tilted Pia's head with his hand-What is wrong with U human? I am trying to get a reaction out of U and all U keep doing is controlling your fears or are U not scared of me at all?

Pia kept her voce neutral-Sid i have an angel on my shoulders in case U haven't noticed. Every time U try to hurt me someone comes to protect me.

Sid smirks at Pia-I don't see an angel Pia but U are faced with the devil himself in the form of me Who will protect U from me now Pia? There's no Abhay or any other guardian angel to save U from me. This time my bite will count Pia.

Pia felt her arm start to feel hot at Sid's touch. Her skin reddening at his touch-Sid if U think i am going to give U an inch then forget it. U hurt me then your beloved Maithali will be lost to U forever.

This got Sid's attention-You're bluffing!

Pia held Sid's eyes moving towards him-Am I Sid? Do U really want to test this theory?

Sid let go of Pia baring his fangs at her-I ought to drink U dry Pia. Make Abhay feel loss like i have. Then there's this problem my being sucked into the vortex U opened up. I will never forget your underhanded tactics. This is another one of your games Pia. I can feel it.

Pia offers Sid her arm-I hide nothing Sid. Unlike U vampires i don't need to play mind games. See for yourself.

Sid growls angrily at Pia-I am not falling for this again. I saw what did last time.

Pia innocently bats her eyes at Sid-Who me? I would never dream of doing such a thing Sid. I don't even know what you're on about.

Sid cautiously watched Pia's facial expressions for any hint of Pia's lies but she held her cards close to her heart. Sid takes in a deep breath to take in the smell around him. The girl with Pia had struck a chord to Sid but he never got to see who she was-I should snap your neck?

Pia dared Sid-Then do it Sid but i don't think Maithali would be happy being stuck as a werewolf now do U? After all werewolves and vampires mixing is dangerous right? Its the reason why i won Abhay by default. (Pia's eyes saddened by saying this out in the open.) If i die then the fight for Maithali would be just between U brothers.

Sid saw Pia's voice fall flat-What is it about Utwo girls so gaga over my brother? He isn't even special. He isn't as strong as I am nor as witty as me or as good looking as me..

Pia answered-It's a girl thing. You'd never understand how special he really is Sid because you're blinded by rage and hatred.

Sid tried to read Pia's mind but came out blank-So the girl U were with was????

Pia answered cheerfully-Maithali. Its a shame U didn't decide to attack then. U would have caught up on the good old days.

Sid could recall Maithali'scent but it was faint-If U are trying to make a fool out of me Pia then i swear i will have your head.

Pia rubbed her arm to cool the pain-Yeah yeah i get the drift. She needs U for a ritual to turn her back to human again. Maithali needs both U and Abhay alive for this.

Sid chuckled evilly turning around with his arms spread out in the air-This just gets ridiculous by the second. Abhay and I can never work together civilly. I want him dead and most importantly in pain. He has no right to live with the way he treated me. His big brother. Now i don't have the luxury of seeing the little sucker hurt. If what U say is true Pia then i might have to rethink my strategies now.

Pia glared at Sid after seeing all this venom against Abhay-U and Abhay and are embroiled in a bitter battle over an ancient matter which will never end if U don't bury the hatchet. Let go of the past Sid. It will never bring U happiness. Forget about your feud and start anew. It's not like Abhay's after Maithali now so whats stopping U from becoming brothers again?

Sid ignored Pia's questions with intrigue-So why are U helping Maithali? Aren't U afraid of her getting back with Abhay once she's back to normal. There will be nothing stopping her from being with him.

Pia responded with insight-Everyday with Abhay is a bonus for me Sid. He is free to be with who he wants. I won't pressurize him to choose me. If he wants Maithali he can go to her now but he chose me. In the end its all up to God. (Pia watches Sid grit his teeth) U don't like my answer. Maithali had already held Abhay's heart Sid just as Abhay is deep rooted inside Maithali's heart to this day. Don't U think its up to her to decide who she should be with?

Sid growled at Pia-Maithali doesn't know what she wants. The girls never made a right decision in her lifetime. What makes U think she's any dfferent? Why are U helping her Pia?

Pia answered curtly-It's the right thing to do. I wouldn't want to be stuck in a cursed life and neither does she. Aren't U at all worried by how she'll react to seeing U after all these years? U did after all get her killed. U claim to be the injured party here Sid but its Maithali who paid the price with her life while U swan around the earth as if U own it.

Sid grabbed hold of Pia trying to intimidate her-U think you're smart Pia but U don't know the half of it. The lengths i've had to go through to make sure she never died. I already knew about all this Pia. Just not the specifics. About a possible doppelganger saving Maithali was just a myth until i saw U that day. I won't let her keep me at bay. As soon as she's back to normal you're toast Pia.

Pia tried to break free-U can't threaten me Sid. Not when i know it's all in vain. U need me more than you'll ever admit. Just stay away from us in the meantime.

Sid was about to attack Pia just to show her he isn't bluffing when he felt another sharp metal pierce through his chest-What the ...

Pia aired with caution-Who is after U Sid? (Pia remembered Abhay's sneak attack and concluded it being the Hunter).

Sid screamed in agony-I will kill this b*****d with my bare hands.

Pia blankly pulled out the arrow-Here just drink this quickly and get out of here before Abhay gets here.

Sid refused-Not after what i saw. I can't...

Pia pierced her skin gently against Sid's teeth-I need U alive Sid for Maithali. She needs U alive or do U want to give up the fight for her seeming as i know what a coward U really are.

Sid drank away gushing down the red fluid trickling down his throat while he was seared with more images of Pia's memories filled with more on the Abhay saga and her budding sisterhood with Maithali which was making him feel very guilty about wanting her dead. The girl was a righteous nightmare. He hated girls who'd wanted to change others for the better. He could tell she genuinely wanted Abhay's broken family to unite. Pia left Sid with more of Sid's childhood with Abhay. Only Abhay could have passed this on to Pia through their own connection making Sid feel jealous of not having this special person to share his own nightmares with. For a vampire all the bad emotions from their human life accumulated with blood spelt chaos.

Sid tore his mouth away raucously stating-Run. I don't know what you've triggered in me but U have to run. I can't kill U yet. You're blood is too potent. Run.

Pia moved away from Sid heading in the direction of the Hunter who was on his way out-Stop (She shouted after him.)

Sid had mustered all his strength to run in the other direction. He maintained the soft images in his head of his childhood to keep him from focusing on bloodlust. He fled all the way to his place with Alexis looking at him with horror.

Abhay had sensed Pia in distress and made some excuse to Misha about an urgent meeting with his folks he'd already completed most of Misha's work with her. She just had the last part to finish off and hand in. He saved all her work on a usb stick and dashed straight in Pia's direction. Pia was going to give him an early death as a vampire because he was probably going to need someone to put him out of his misery. Pia was scaring the s**t out of him. What was she up to?

Finally he'd caught up with Pia. She was on her way to her hostel looking paler than usual. These days Pia was often looking very anaemic. Was all the blood drinking causing this he thought? She wasn't into going in for appointments to the doctors. Abhay grabbed Pia in his arms and helped her settle down in her room.

Abhay sat her down on her bed-Do U need anything Pia? Have U eaten? Did anyone do anything to U?

Pia's tired eyes played with Abhay's soothing his worries-Abhay quit being such a worry wart. I think i've been too overworked with stress. I haven't managed to get home from my long walk.

Abhay didn't buy Pia's excuse-Misha's work is complete in case U are asking. I've left her with the USB stick. She just needs to hand it in. (Abhay's sharp eyes darted to Pia's wrist) Whose blood is that Pia? It's yours. I can smell it.

Pia tried to hide her hand unsuccessfully. Abhay examined Pia's hand-I must have grazed it.

Abhay hoarsely managed-What? U let a vampire feed on U Pia. My brother. How could U?

Pia defended her actions-I had to Abhay. I think the Hunter's on his tail. He can't die. He has to help Maithali. She needs him Abhay. He said he'll help her.

Abhay was angry-This is unforgivable Pia. U go behind my back to help a vampire who wants to kill U. Kill U Pia. How can i save U if U keep doing this to me? Maithali's woes do not concern U.

Pia defiantly answers-In case U haven't noticed i feel her pain Abhay. She needs help and i will give it to her whether U like it or not. Besides Sid won't hurt us Abhay. He won't hurt U. I won't let him.

Abhay brushed his fingers through his hair then held Pia's face in his hands-I can handle Sid, Pia i don't need U protecting me from him. He can't hurt me Pia. Baby please U have to have faith in me. I will always protect U with my life. Without U i am nothing Pia. If anything happened to U do U think i could carry on with this miserable existence? Just promise me U won't endanger yourself with Maithali and Sid. They aren't worth your life Pia. Not to me anyway because U are everything to me. Do U hear me?

Pia burst into a flood of tears-But Abhay i promised i'd help her. She assures me its not life threatening and i trust her Abhay. Its about time U did too. U did love her once upon a time and U still do even if U don't want to admit it to yourself. I love U is the reason i am doing this Abhay. Anyone U ever love will always be a strong reason to want to do this.

Abhay swore under his breath-I love U Pia. I think U have forgotten how much. To want to put yourself out for a woman who is trying to save her own people from a fate like theirs is beyond reason. She had no right to do this to U.

Pia kissed Abhay softly on his lips-U are unforgettable Abhay. I live and breathe U remember. My world revolves around only U. U are always within me Abhay. In my heart, my soul, my mind, U are all around me so i can never forget U Abhay. U don't have to remind me of anything.

Abhay cut his wrists to replenish Pia-Drink this Pia. I can't have my girlfriend passing out on me. Then we can just relax and U can tell me about your little adventure or better yet U can show me.

Pia gave her neck-I'd rather U take a little drink yourself Abhay. Then i can bombard your mind with how much i really love U. Maybe then you'll quit hounding me down with I don't love U enough.

Abhay-No first U drink. I won't bother.

Pia refused-I don't think my blood will taste as nice with your blood in my system. I insist Abhay. Its been a while since we did this.

Abhay took a little drink from Pia being careful not to take too much. He could see nearly everything from Maithali's encounter but not all the conversations. Then Sid threatening to kill Pia while Pia had bravely stopped him in his track. Pia's anger toward Sid at the rage he had against him and her protectiveness towards Abhay had only made Abhay want to love Pia more than he already did. Finally the Hunter was the last thing on Pia's mind. She tried to run after him. Abhay broke off contact. Abhay let Pia drink from him showing her exactly how he'd felt and his carzed love for her beyond devotion.
