HEy Kanshita,
I agree and disagree with your post!
well, I understand your stand wen it comes to how Navya must have felt and what made her take this entire "scene" on the level of dignity..
but at the same time, I feel that she did not need to take it to that level!
I think she should have stayed back, got up and questioned Anant right there wat and how did he end up showing taht cd in class!
I think that wud have been a much better approach! Not only wud it shut up those crackpots who were having a laugh session for free, but it wud also let the girl power rule!
Ritz was right wen she said..come back to the classroom, its not your fault!
I wud have loved if Navya wud have listened to Ritz..
she shd have had the guts to get back, and face the situation..coz it was obviously not her fault!
Anyways, I can even relate to your analysis!good job!
Love,
Ritz!
She is badly real, I know. But I am not part of that league which is why I fail to understand, uh!?
Thought provoking.
I think there is a big difference between the two situations. With Sonia, I dont think Navya's dignity came into it at all. She has seen proof of Sonia's personality and knows what she can expect from her. Also, she has no real feelings of friendship etc. towards her so is not affected by her words and actions. With Anant, feelings are definitely involved. Never mind the depth of those feelings. She feels hurt, and embarassed, because its something she did not expect from him. That is why she runs out in shock and embarassement.Of course, since I am so late in responding to this post, she has made the move to call him after ignoring his apology and phone calls, bcos she has found out the truth. This has left her dignity intact. My pov.
