Why was Dil se a flop?

I was just bored and seeing stuff on youtube....came across a few scenes from the film Dil Se and started recalling how I actually liked the film. 🤔 I thought it was pretty good..it's such a different film than the usual commercial crap we get...and I think it's one of SRK's best performances. Manisha was awesome, Preity was decent as well (considering it was her first film). I loved the ending by the way..I did not see that coming at all. Everything just seemed so realistic and convincing (to me at least it did)...All the characters were nicely depicted and everyone did a great job ...I definitely think it's one of Mani Ratnam's best...the music was awesome...so does anyone know what went wrong? 😕 I really hope it's not because it wasn't a "typical" bollywood film because I'm glad it wasn't....

Did anyone else like it by the way? 😆

I think you definitely should. you may or may not like it, but it's something different than the usual that you should check out.

Cuz.. well you should know by now of how I feel abt SRK.. 😆😆..i'll probably just look for reasons to bash him.. so its better that i dont watch it..😆😆

lmaoo.. I can understand, but seriously I think he did a good job, I'd say his performance in Dil Se was better than many of his other performances which people absolutely loved...and, I agree some of SRK's performances are repetitive and OTT (and this is coming from a fan), but I found his performance pretty genuine in this film...and Manisha was brilliant as her character. At times, her character pisses you off (you'd understand that by seeing the film ..I don't wanna reveal much just in case you decide to watch it some day 😆) but everything's executed so artistically which I liked.
