The show's four leading ladies — Tassnim Sheikh, Kiran Dubey, Aashka Goradia and Gurdeep Kohli race against the clock to get the right candidate and rush him to the airport ahead of others. The first person at the finishing line gets to go on an international flight. During the shooting of recent Baisakhi special episode that Tassnim was shooting at Four Bunglows, she ran into an unexpected hurdle. After reaching her contestant's building and taking her passport, Sheikh was about to leave the premise when she was stalled by the secretary of the building who refused to let her leave the area. "It was one of the most scariest episodes in my life. The man started grabbing the camera. He threatened to break it as he said we didn't have permission to shoot in the building premises. I got very scared and thought that he would hurt us and damage the equipment." Tassnim begged him Tassnim just broke down and started crying uncontrollably. "I didn't want to leave the episode and give up. Sheikh claims that she had to literally beg the man for forgiveness. I was almost at his feet and asking him to let me go. It was only after my contestant wrote an apology letter and gave it to him that he gave us permission to leave the building." Tassnim said the episode taught her a lesson. "Whatever happened was as good as a fight. I realised that I have to be ready mentally and physically for anything that comes my way. One has to constantly be alert and on the guard." Vipul D Shah from Optymistix added, "I think the building authorities should realise that their residents stand a chance of winning if they permit them to shoot. We need to take the camera inside the contestant's house , however, we have no interest in shooting the building premises. Also the anchor has to deal with the situation and handle it well. I think Tassnim is really involved in her show, which is why she was able to carry that episode off." The Baisakhi special will air this Friday on Star One. |
