Kat: No more bimbette roles

Katrina Kaif is going to spend her vacation thinking hard. Rumours say that Kat wants to rethink her projects for 2011 .

She knows her performance in Tees Maar Khan doesn't merit any awards. All the accolades she won for Raajneeti have been washed away in the furore of Sheila ki Jaawani.

Not wanting to be labelled as the next item girl, Kat wants to do some reassessing. She is almost half way through her film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan with Imran Khan. She wants to do Kabir Khan's film but no big hero has said yes to the project so far.

With Karan Johar's Dostana-2 being postponed further (God knows when it will take off) Kat has a lot of free time. She is hopeful about bagging one more Yashraj project. And though she has three scripts sitting on her table, Kat doesn't want to play any more bimbette roles, say sources.

WOW, this article gives a lot of information.
First of all - I am so glad that Kat thinks that if this is true! Kat you cannot do more of TMK roles anymore! Please just stop babe!
Second - so I guess she is doing Kabir's next but who should be the actor? I hope its someone good!
So I guess she is free for a while since she only has like 5 films signed.
Which include ZNMD, MBKD, Dostana 2, Kabir's Next amd Satsang. I hope this is true!

finally

finally she start thinking of doing some meaty roles

on 1st place she shouldnt have refused silence..

i would like to see her in a obbssed lover or yakeen kinda role

I think thats a really wise decision from Kat! If she wants to be considered a credible actress than she has to move away from TMK,Race, SIK, Welcome, DDD kind of roles.

BUT I honestly beleive that Katrina should really get some acting classes, and Im saying this as complete constructive criticism, because just taking on meatier roles, wont solidifiy her actress status, she needs to perform well in them.

There are so many actresses, who arn't 'great' actresses, and beleive that they can just learn on the job, which just really doesnt happen, If Kat took acting classes first, then took on some substantial roles, I think she would be unstoppable! 😃

well i mean...its good that she doesnt want to do bimbette roles anymore but theres also the question what an actors capacity. n well katrina till dis point hasnt proven to be capable to doing justice to meaty roles. her part in rajneeti wasnt all that meaty except the the last 15 mins n even that many other actresses could have done much better.

maybe she will improve with practice...but right now it she wants meatly roles she used take more acting classes or something. cuz its no fun seeing a bad actor in a meaty role..its like a waste actually
