Shaan could have finished off the dinner first among all, but he remained there still and eating the food slowly. He didn't like how Yash behaved with Khanak during their first meeting, so decided to wait until Khanak gets ready to leave the kitchen. He knows what type of a guy Yash is, a straight forward and over-friendly sometimes. Being his brother didn't help to ease his discomfort, rather he became afraid thinking that Khanak might get along with Yash better than him. Yash, on the other hand enjoyed the dinner like his mother, complimented about each and every thing that was served to them. He talked with Akshay about the work and how bad he missed all of them. When they were finally done Yash asked Shaan why he was still there without moving 'I know you are waiting for my sweet bhabhi' came his answer which was infact right. sweet bhabhi, thought Shaan. When did she become his sweet bhabhi? 'Yes, I mean no, let's move' Shaan hid his desperateness to be there for Khanak as he stood from the chair.
'Bro, now tell me how did you managed to get an all rounder? I mean Tashu wasn't an all rounder' Yash started as soon as they were alone. What did he meant by saying an all rounder? He touched his chin to hide how much he was trying to avoid the conversation with Yash. 'ok, let me ask Bhabhi, I'm sure she will tell' Yash wasn't in a mood to leave them alone, thought Shaan. His mind forced him to do something to avoid Yash flirting with Khanak. 'No need Yash, I will tell you' he held Yash by his arm, unexpectedly feeling that he might go and ask Khanak. 'It's very simple, just go to a small town, like Dulwadi and spend three days there, the first girl you see there you will definetly fall in love with her' it wasn't that bad, thought Shaan while answering Yash.
Shaan saw Khanak coming out of the kitchen and said good night to Yash and followed Khanak upstairs to the room. He covered her eyes with his powerful hands and she shouted out loud. He covered her mouth by his other hand and whispered into her ears 'shh..don't be afraid' and led her inside. He removed his hands from her eyes instructing her not to open her eyes until he tells to do so. 'one, two, three...there you go' she slowly opened her eyes and handed her a file. 'what's this now, Shantanu?' without opening it, she questioned. 'this is the project of my latest project, I want you to join the office with me' she gasped for some air, as she found it difficult to believe 'but, Shantanu, I have no idea of any of such things, I know nothing about the business' he cut her words 'Khanaaak, no buts and ifs ok, I'm your husband and I want you to work with me, what is wrong with it?' She knew that his words made a sense but she has never been into any of such things. 'do you think that dad will agree?' that was her only concern. 'of course he knows, and he was so happy knowing my decision...I would be more happy if you come with me, so that I can see you all the time' so, this was his intention on doing this. 'Shantanuuuu, no way, if I go to office I will be very professional and you won't get a chance to do anything like you are thinking right now' she was firm with her words. Before sleeping Shaan explained her about the project and told her how important that project is to him. They stayed a bit longer on talking and discussing about Mandhira and Yash as well. 'Khanak , be ware of Yash, he is very dangerous' Shaan warned her thinking that she would be scared to get any closer to Yash. None of them knew when they fell asleep while talking.
The morning sun welcomed into a whole new day and Khanak woke up abit later than usual. She smiled at Shaan who was still in his deep sleep with one hand under his head and the other holding her into him, showing how protective he is. He is so handsome even in his sleep. She remembered him being a tough, angry guy who hated her like anything before, has changed completely for her. She is so lucky to have such a caring and loving husband. Slowly she got up, and had a bath and headed down stairs. Mandhira was doing her morning puja in the mandir when she appeared there. She greeted her and asked whether she needed a cup of tea or not. Mandhira touched Khanak's face and head and prayed for her happiness and well being telling that she had already had her tea. Khanak excused herself saying that she needs to make tea for Shaan. Mandhira smiled at her lovingly thinking that she is the perfect girl for Shaan, wanting her to live as long as Shaan exists.
Shaan wasn't in the room when Khanak returned with his tea, he was in the bathroom. She waited near the window enjoying the rays of the morning sun, without noticing when Shaan stopped besides her. She was taken back by the thud at the door 'bhabhi, bhabhi' came Yash's voice. What the hell is wrong with Yash, now that he is coming to their room, Shaan became annoyed, but opened the door. 'may I come in' Yash asked for permission and Khanak nodded
her head smiling at him. 'what's the matter with you Yash, now that you came at this time' Shaan asked wanting to know what Yash was upto. 'actually I need to buy a list of stuff for tomorrow's puja, mom asked me to do it for her. So, I came to ask whether bhabhi can accompany with me to do the shopping' Yash wasn't that flirty as Shaan knew him. Shaan found it difficult to believe 'actually Khanak is going to office with me today' it was such a good excuse to keep Yash away from Khanak. 'no, Shantanu, I will be going to the office only after the puja' Khanak made him defenseless, by helping Yash. 'okay, take her, but remember to call me as soon as you finish' he said while giving a parting kiss to her forehead. Khanak lowered her gaze feeling embarrassed when Shaan did it infront of Yash. 'bye, bro, I don't remember seeing you this romantic before' Yash winked at Shaan showing his thumbs up to Shaan
