Now, Pakistan kids on reality show face MNS ire

[quote]MUMBAI: After shunting out Pakistani stand-up comedian Shakeel Siddiqui, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena is now targeting Pakistani kids who are in the city to participate in a musical show on a private television channel.

MNS members threatened the channel on Monday that they would not tolerate any Pakistani coming to India and participating in any kind of show. MNS Cine Workers' Association president Ameya Khoppkar said, "This step by the channel and the producer of show has shocked people across the country. How can you allow people from Pakistan to come to India after the 26/11 terror attack?''

Most people in the industry were aghast at the party not even leaving kids alone though there were some who agreed with the MNS stand.

Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt said, "The Mahatma said we should start with children if we were to teach real peace in this world and if we were to carry on a real war against war. It is heartbreaking to see Chhote Ustad being targeted! Are we now going to use kids in our hate campaign?''

Writer-director Vinta Nanda agreed, "Is India a democracy or a fascist nation? Am sure no one in MNS knows the pain of separation, they have never been displaced or uprooted from their home or had to start their lives afresh. Why can't they allow peace and harmony between the two countries?''

But there was some support for the MNS stand. A singer, who didn't want to be quoted, said, "We Indians have always liked the outsider and that is our problem. So many of them have told me that they like Pakistani singers and don't really encourage our talent.''

Indian Motion Picture Producers' Association president TP Agarwal, too, voiced a similar feeling. "When they don't encourage our singers there, why should we allow them here? I am totally against it. Even if this show is not employment-based, I would still not want Pakistanis to come to India,'' he said.

"The next time anyone brings Pakistanis here, we are going to beat them up. We have enough talent in India,'' he said, adding, "Don't you know how many children died and were orphaned in 26/11?''[/quote]

wow i didnt know some people in India are so demented! targeting innocent children now. Only inhuman people can think this way.

Holding Pakistan responsible for every other terrorist attack does no good any way. Better still, enjoy the show and for once appreciate the fact the these two countries are trying to solves their disputes and bond together.

these ppl r rememberin 26/11 attacks???? do they think these innocent lil children did that??? jus because of some ppl everyone is being generalised.. terrorists belong to no country.. ppl in pakistan as well r fed up of these terrorists.. even ppl there r not able to live in peace because of terrorism.. let innocent ppl live..no matter what country they belong to.. if it mattered soo much.. britishers ruled india for 100s of yrs..lots n lots of ppl were killed back then.. lots n lotssssssss of ppl became homeless.. then y do u try to adopt western culture.. y do u go to western countries.. n invite british ppl to india..

These people who want to talk about banning people or kids from Pakistan coming to India for work or show. They sit in there million dollar homes and drive million dollar cars and have never had any hardship in there live at all. Most of these kids from Pakistan are poor kids from poor families just like some of the kids from India. If you want to talk about how many people where killed and how many kids are left with out there families and that is why you dont want to allow Pakistani singers or actors or actress to step foot into India then stop being such a two face...

Lets see the British ruled India for over 100 years and they killed and tortured thousands and thousand of people including children. They left thousand and thousand of children orphan, but yet Indians have made London there second country. Just about almost ever movie has the singing and the dancing or the holidays showing to be in London. They wear the flag Great Britain in there shirts and is panted on the sets of the movies. Most speak more English then they do Hindi. Please please someone tell me why is that these people have problem with Pakistani people coming to sing or work or do anything in India but yet they no problem going to a country that ruled India for so many years and killed so many good people.

I wish these kids from Pakistan go back imediately issay pehlay kuch bora ho.....
