All is well

Reports are rife that Aisha's director Rajshree Ojha and producer Rhea Kapoor are at loggerheads as Rhea, who is known to be dating first assistant Karan Boolani since she worked with him on Wake Up Sid, was pushing her beau for bigger responsibilities.

Boolani also shot a song at Rishikesh on Rhea's behest, despite Rajshree's presence on the sets. But Rajshree clears the air, denying any such rift.

Rhea kapoor"I don't know where such news comes from. I am shocked. People should get their facts right. Such stupid stories make things tough for me. I want people to enjoy the movie.

Period," she says, adding, "Karan was just a first AD (assistant director) and I used to turn to him like I did to other ADs, which is a normal process in film production. The movie is my vision and it is my film."

Rajshree clarifies that the Karan and Rhea's friendship had no role to play on the professional front. "There was never a problem between Rhea, Karan and me. In fact, Rhea supported me throughout the production of this movie.

We shared a healthy working relationship," Rajshree goes on. Quiz her on the song sequence in Rishikesh and she says, "We all decided that Karan would do the song, and there is nothing more to it."

Aisha, which stars Rhea's sister Sonam Kapoor and Abhay Deol in the lead roles, has mostly been shot in Delhi, and is expected to be released in theatres on Auust 6.

Oh great !! Although in one her interviews, she did say this:

There were rumours of a disagreement between you and the Kapoor sisters...
The movie needed someone who had a vision, and when I first went to Sonam, I kind of had someone who was interested. When I narrated the concept to Sonam and Rhea, they were very excited and they understood my vision. Initially yes, there were some issues, as Sonam had read Emma and she had some pre-conceived notions about how to play her character and I had mine. I didn't want her to play her role in a goody-goody way, as I like my characters to have shades. But after some initial hiccups, we had healthy discussions and I am now happy with the end result.

But it's great it's all sorted out :)

I don't know if they had any differences or not, but what's so bad about having creative differences? I don't know why the media created a huge issue about it, if two people have differences at work doesn't mean they can't work together or can't resolve them. 🤔
In fact, I think it's healthy because having differences means all the issues are being discussed in open and people are putting a lot of effort into making the movie. :)
