Exactly and you won't believe some people consider it unattractive and not girly for any girl to be shown as strong. Majority of the people at least what can be seen in general, love the stories of the girl being the damsel in distress and the guy being super hero.

A part of me loves that, its okay once in a while we do get weak and need help or support but everytime is what is shown with all the lead girls in Star one shows!

All are either scared cats or interested in filling buckets.

Frankly Nupur was the 1 who was role model and example for todays women.She was the only recognized and mentioned character from starone in news papers or article abt telly...And wat did they do they killed her.And wat show shows todays women.They trying max to promote their shows and channel 🤢 ...no show from th channel is in top 100 shows right 😆

Correct me if i m wrong...i think the only new age women thing shown in starone is that some of their female lead is shown as working women like ridhima & geet, which is good coz i can't remeber any of starplus or other channel shows where the female lead is a working women , not a house wive.........(again, i can be wrong, i don't hv much idea abt other channels.......but except yrf shows, those ragini & pratigya & aksharas .none of them r working women as far as i know. ).

But new age women thing end there for starone only, the characteristics r more or less same of these gals, crying queens & helpless & weak personalities.MJHT was a college based show.where i believe at the beginning they showed both gunjan & Nupur had some spark of new age women,coming to big city from small town with big dreams, Gunjan was shown shy yet talented though later center of her life become something else..(MY POV)
Only & Only Nupur maintained some sort of that new age women spirit til the end of her character in the show.Inspite of some ups & downs. she remain the most close to real character,She loved mayank , but never shown as sacrificing or compromising anything for sake of him when he is wrong, she always standup for herself even if it is against mayank. a women who wanted to fulfill her dreams even after an early marriage which she didn't want, she was the one who dare to dream after her own dream shatter & still she managed to bounce back & achieve scholarship & job.... & as couple both mayank & nu[pur were shown taking major decision of living separate for her career's sake. They killed her.........& i don't think thats any way of getting into new age women theme for starone coz she is as far as i know , the most closest to that new age avatar of women on tv so far..............
