Earlier today, a post praising the work of the LTL dialogue writer(s) came out and I must say, it was well overdue!

Increasingly, we have come to respect the show for not only the acting and storyline but for the words that bring them and the characters to life. So many times, we've quoted dialogues, connected the dots between words across time, and overall, delighted in the wonderful, human words uttered by the utterly human characters. No unnecessary drama, but rather very thoughtful, reflective, humorous, and insightful words.

How better to show our appreciation than to pick out our favorite lines and why they have left such a mark on us?

So do comment!

And, as I said before, to the grand puppeteer of words, I bow before thee. Thank you for making LTL so memorable.

👏

Ooooo! 😍 I toh am fida over the dialogues of LTL - as suggested by the Express too.. 😆

But the one that comes to mind right now that I really like is:

Kya Bhao?! Larki pe haath uthaya aur bhool gaya?! - Baji

This is when Baji reprimands Dutta for being rough with Nakku in his drunken stupor.

Here is my previous post but you have described my thoughts much better :

I cannot write enough to appreciate the powerful dialogues written by the LTL writer (I think his name is Anil ...). His dialogues are not only mind blowing but also have been written to suit each and every character be it Ganpat, Baji or Kala (somehow Roops, Leela and Sudarshan have been dropped from his radar) and lets not even forget the dialogues written for Anna and Janardhan. I agree that the direction and delivery of those dialogues are just as important but if it hadn't been for those great dialogues tailored for the characters we wouldn't be loving LTL so much. I get totally absorbed in each and every character.

I really hope that the dialogue writer is reading some of these forum discussions. Lately I have seen so many discussions just revolving around the dialogues and the depth messages it is portraying. Just from yesterday's episode Dutta's dialogues when he is self critiquing himself blew me away. Wow and Wow.
Does anyone know other serials for which the writer has or is currently writing the dialogues?
Anil this is for you: 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
In addition I had recommended that the development team of this site to create a permanent topic for memorable dialogues where we can post them. They can be categorized by the character. The viewers can then start contributing to the post and if possible indicate the date of the episode.

Another memorable dialogue for me was when Dutta says to Nakku "Kis mitti ki bani ho" and she laughs and says "Kali mitti ki"

I have made sure most of my updates and KBTs include atleast one line praising the genius 😆.......... I normally am more interested in the direction, Dialogues and BGM and no wonder LTLs dialogue writer has turned out to be one my of my Favs.

I bow down to him and absolutely love the lines that flow from his kitty . Never cliched and never over dramatic. Perfect lines with a perfect punch. There have been all sorts of characters in this show and I can so visualize how difficult it is to write lines for so many different characters who talk differently, think differently and act differently........... Adore his work.

Now coming to the mudha of the day........The best line for me, which bowled me over and which infact bowled Dutta over..........was

Nakku's "Sahib Glass Aur Dil ek jaise thodi naa hai jo ek baar toote phir kabhi na ban paaye?" ... This line has touched my heart pretty badly. Its such a wonderful line which gave Dutta a new hope that he too will find true love ........ Whenever I see Dutta and Nakku this is the line I remember ........ Adorable line!!!.

My favorite--

Bhao: Yeh ladki yedi hai, kya?

Baji (laughing): Bhao, uska to pata nahi. Pata...ek na ek din, woh apko zaroor yeda banayegi.

I so love this exchange.

Another memorable one for me is from 10th March when Nakku asks Dutta not to drink:
Nakku to Dutta: Sahib aap aaj bhi piyo ge?
Dutta to Nakku: Kyon aaj koi dry day hai ya koi varat hai?
and later he says to Nakku "Teri batein achi lagti hain lekin jab tu kam bolti hain"
and then a little later after Nakku leaves with the glass Baaji comes and Dutta says to him:
"Ab tu ruthi biwi ke tarah peche peche chalega ya..."
I can see that scene over and over again. Don't miss it.
