Arjun's negative image positive for RA.ONE!

Critics and trade pundits have all attributed Arjun's magical resurrection to his National Award winning act in ROCK ON!! and rightly so. What they do not realize is that Arjun Rampal was just languishing as a side hero giving support to the likes of Zayed Khan etc. And it was not until Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment took him under his wings and OM SHANTI OM happened that critics and the audience realized the immense potential that Arjun possesses.
Farah Khan's OM SHANTI OM can truly be called Arjun's comeback film, the beginning of a wonderful second innings, an all-time blockbuster hit that was much needed to salvage his dying career. Farah and Shah Rukh had the courage to cast him in a strong negative character and his suave, sophisticated negative act in OSO certainly was one of the highlights which went on to establish his acting credentials to the filmdom as well as the audience.
Once again in RAAJNEETI Arjun has proved beyond doubt that he is simply superb when cast in a slight negative image and had the audience eating out of his palms with his portrayal of a young sophisticated slightly rash and hot tempered politician.
RAAJNEETI will naturally spell good news for another biggie that is Shah Rukh Khan's ambitious sci-fi extravaganza RA.ONE where Arjun is again giving stiff challenge to King Khan and is essaying a strong negative character.
The film is under production and we cannot but wait to see what Arjun has to offer in RA.ONE. Considering the fact that it?s for friend and mentor Shah Rukh Khan we can hope for another award winning act by Arjun Rampal.
