In the May 8 bumper episode of Pratigya, Pratigya (Pooja Gor) will stand for her bhabhi and fight for her rights. She is strongly fighting against her brother-in-law (Shakti) who wants to terminate his wife's pregnancy for the fifth time. And just when he has almost succeeded in fulfilling his intentions, Pratigya will save her bhabhi and the baby.

A source informed, "No one in Krishna's family knows that Shakti has been aborting his child as he fears the infant will grow up to become an ugly child like his mother. He is trying his best to abort the fifth child but Pratigya is fighting against his vicious intentions. This time he plans to send Pratigya and Krishna to watch a movie and decides to abort the pregnancy in her absence. However, Pratigya smells a rat and decides to go back home. She finds Shakti taking his wife to the hospital to terminate her pregnancy but the girl saves her bhabhi just in time. The entire family which has been waiting for the arrival of the grandchild too comes to know that their son had kept them deprived of the child. Sajjan Singh even summons Shakti and asks him about his fears considering that he too has no looks to brag about."

Gor feigned ignorance about the upcoming track. Shanti Bushan, co-writer of the show said, "The maha episode will show how strong-willed and driven Pratigya is to stand for her bhabhi and her child. This is a beautiful episode which will highlight her strength."
