Vish I am sorry,I mistook you for a "he" mainly because you sound too rough on Sadhana I guess...
@ Anu, I don't want to change you belief if you think Sadhana was insensitive and inconsistent.I guess each of us access others differently and different emotions get us differently.
But I surely can tell you she had no clue about the mystery man.The only time she met him was in the tent.I guess when we are scared we loose ourselves and become insecure, so we end up doing things subconsciously.I guess other incident similar to that was the truck accident incident.
And Alekh did not approve of Mallika we know, but Sadhana heard from Mallika more than Alekh though she had to take time to acess how really Alekh felt about.And then there is always possibility of a union without completely liking the person.Alekh would have ended up getting engaged to Mallika if Mami would not have intervened na?
Again being protective shows concern not love I guess.
But throughout all this, getting no definitive sign from Sadhana still had some hopes that Alekh still loves her.She was hoping he would express.
And I feel if Alekh could change in otherways this should have been one of it too...Supporting the person who gave all the love when you were not right!

Well in the end according to what I felt Sadhana did not get to hear Alekh's acceptance, support and love when she needed the most!

Let me make myself clear...I dont think Sadhana was insensitive. She is a very understanding and emotional character. I do think that there has been some inconsistency in her character since the jail track, too much lying and hiding the facts. I dont understand why couldnt she tell Mamaji about Kaushi's illness. Some of the actions are purely based on emotions, there is no reasoning or rationale behind them.

I tend not to base my arguments based on gender, rather like some rationale and logic. I can of course make politically right statements that will make many happy 😃
