I don't want to defend anybody. This is how I understood Bidaai!
And in my sense Divorce is though a big word, it gives both the couple equal obligations. What if Alekh was in Sadhana's place, wouldn't he have done the same thing?Would he have let somebody die thinking that signing a paper will break my love for somebody. That would have sounded so bad...
In Bidaai every character is independent to take their decisions to live their life.If Alekh preferred not to support Sadhana when his mother kicked her out(They could have let her live in the out house if they did not want to see her),he was right in his own way.He gave her up for his mother, same as divorce I guess only the paper was not signed! He did not show any interest also after that to bring her back.
And if Sadhana preferred to divorce than she is not wrong either, as she was forced at the moment to do so with no signs if Alekh would accept her😒
I guess no character is perfect here, but definitely have showed Sadhana as the sacrificing one and doing good deeds at any expense. That can only be Sadhana, she is unique, and above all due to for her forgiving nature !!!!

I understood the fun and withdrew my demand of "public apology"...

if that was fun, then Vasu is not a bad character...then whats the problem with "silent Vasu."..
Please maintain one stand...

About the member awards..I already told u that a disclaimer was provided beforehand that its done in humour and also many dev team members got awards like "stricct mod of the forum" and stuffs like that..so u were not alone there...
about the "silent vasu" comment..some might take offence here in the context of how its been said by quoting another member...it was done in a sarcastic tone with a purposee of personal attack...and as per our new rules we r extra strict with these personal attacks because we hv already gone through many such unpleasant situations in the past..hope u understand this dear😳

Sadhna can be questioned, but still there can be many logics behind to support her actions...

@ blue - agreed... but for those two reasons, mamaji and Sadhana would not have gotten away either lecturing him nor for Sadhana putting him on streets never talking about what they didi wrong. 😆

@ red - Sadhana is PURE GOOD! that qualifies her to divorce her husband for Ragini and mamiji for money. And, she becomes Sadhana to Gandhari in the presence of Aalekh (that's an auto switch.. programmed that way... its a robust program though... nobody can hack that program. I wish I were a s/w engineer to be able to tell you what language was used...) is showing her affection, gentle love and attention... if you can't see anything you need need permissions either to do anything... suits her purpose...

Yes, very good examples are being expended through Bidaai... don't approve your husband? Put him on streets!!! That will serve him right...

Bidaai Vasu galathiyan karthi hai...

Impersonator Vasu analyze karke sach bolthi hai... farak hai ki nahi...
Sadhana ki galathiyan bathanese tho iss forum mein Vasu tho apne aap banjaathe hai..

there are lots of talking Vasus and silent Vasu's in this forum... vunhe bhi ginna shuru karo...🤣
@BOLD : agree with you 1000%

Anu, sorry I don't remember well which came first the letter or divorce.
One thing is sure, Alekh letting Sadhana go out of Rajvansh house while she came back even to ask him again. And when he still not speakup supporting her stay was big sign that he did not approve of her.She even asked him " Now if someone had asked you to marry me , would you marry me?" I guess Alekh answered "No" or did not say anything at all. Then he did not even believe of her telling about Naveen.
And she saw increased association of Alekh with Mallika and Vasu telling Mallika is right choice for Alekh then her.If Alekh showed support to his mom's decisions, then how would Sadhana understand or feel his love. Was there any obvious signs from Alekh's side?
I don't remember any...
On the contrary when Sadhana saved Alekh before dance she muttered something about he being her life.Alekh's mind did not register it during the divorce paper revealing scene. And even she danced for "Mere Piya" which was also kind of signal that she still loved him.
I guess Alekh's signals of him still in love with Sadhana was never obvious to her, though they showed us that he was missing her.

I somewhat disagree with you. There is some inconsistency in Sadhana's actions.

Alekh was never comfortable with Mallika and he never even looked at her. When that mystery man attacked Sadhana, he ran so fast to her and comforted her, he yelled at those security people and was ready to accept his responsibility towards his wife. One moment she hugs Alekh and asks him not to leave her(in the tent when that mystery guy attacked her) and when Alekh wants to openly accept her as his wife in front of Mallika, she stops him ? Why ?

Even when they were both in the lift, he was so protective for her. He even tried to save her so many times when Mallika was mad at Sadhana....juice incidence, Sadhana's ankle incidence etc etc. He wanted to drop her home in the night but Sadi refused and went with Mallika.

So yes, there were obvious signs from Alekh's side as well.

Sadhana never wanted a divorce, she was confident that Alekh will understand her "Majboori". But that's where she miscalculated. Alekh is so simple and naive, he could never understand that if Sadhana loves him so much then how can she even sign the papers.

Alekh had no idea that Kaushi had a major surgery, he was so surprised to see her with bandages on his engagement...how can he even imagine Sadhana's so called Majboori for signing the papers ? When he saw her in the dance competition, he trusted her and thought it must be Sadhana's majboori at that time...so see the difference.
