Shravani was stubborn in not wanting to abort the child , yes . But had she planned to get married to Manav ..........did she even know at that point that such a proposal wud come her way ?she was extremely unhappy , disoriented , and wanted to run away from her Dad who was insisting she abort the child . At that point she had come to manav asking for humanatarian help .aasra .....sanctuary .

Manav advised Girish to give in to her obstinacy and then Girish asked him if he wud marry her upon which Manav took a decision.....yes . Ths decision was based on two things.......the knowledge that Shravni wud NOT abort the child and also the fact that idea , once it took root and grew on him that Sachins child was very much gonna come in this world , should then rather be in this DEshmukh home than anywhere else as it was THEIR blood . It is not just Girish's practicality or pressure as u put it ...........Manav took this decision with a great deal of thought . Girish was trying to find the best solution for this situation and manav agreed ....it fitted hand in glove .

Today .........exactly at this point if Shravni decides to leave the house what do u think the picture will be ? Manav will be relieved ?Somehow I just don't see that .I see him running frantically on the roadssearching for her . If what u say is true why did he go running to the doctor to stop the abortion when she decided ? Only coz she was gonna die ? I dont think so .

Manav can indeed procreate and extend the DEshmukh lineage but it wont be sAchin's child or a last memoir of Sachin . Once the idea that Sachins child was gonna live grew on them The Deshmukhs began weaving dreams around the child and all wanted it ...........Manav Savita , Vandu all are of one mind in this . Today if Shravni leaves midway , Manav WONT GO BACK TO ARCHU HE WILL RUN TO GET THE BABY BACK SOMEHOW IN HIS LIFE . He IS very firm on this ...........The baby [ not Shravni] is hs priority NOT ARCHNA.

i only nowwwwwwwww read this posttttttttttttttt..thank u thank u thank u...i guess it is only the two of us who think manav should be held solely accountable for this mess....no one forced him....he is the one who promisedddddddddddd (which is huge) marriage to the poor gal after his tilak....and deserves to have a "hate manav thread" open..yaaaaaaa...never even thought about the kid sister angle...thanks for reminding me...i clearly remembered that episode when he told her how she was like a kid sis to him and blah blah blah..yuukkksss

I don't think I got your answer… I'll ask again….If Shravani was a poor girl carrying Sachin's child would Savita press Manav to marry her just coz she has their blood growing in her womb or Savita would try to get Manav married to another rich girl so that she can have material gains after marriage.

What you said is true that she loved Sachin more and will give Sachin's wife more importance, that happens all the time in real world. But this is the women, who is getting happy over dead son's insurance money, her greed comes above any other setiments, even above mother's love. Do you really think she is emotionally attached to the child growing in Shravani's womb. When she is trying to make Manav guilty for being with Archana, she only tells abt keeping his promise, she didn't even use Sachin's last memory for emotional blackmail at any time. I ,somehow hv hard time to believe that Savita wants this child at any costs. Even if Shravani offers to give up the child so that the baby will be with Deshmukhs, Savita would try to demand money for upkeep of the child from Girishji. OK, this is a bad scenario for an example, but if Shravani loses her baby , wouldn't Savita still want Shravani to be married to Manav. I say yes.

Tomorrow if Girishji comes and says that he is willing to take care of the child and Savita stops emotional blackmailing and Shravani convinces Manav that she is going to be fine on her own, I doubt Manav will be bent upon to marry Shravani when he knows he is ruining Archana's life by doing so. Or say Shravani falls in love with some other guy and wants to marry him, do you think Manav will stop her just for keeping Sachin's child. Agreed Manav is not EVERY man but he still hv sensitivities for Archana and her family. He went to Varsha's engagement even after being committed to Shravani. He is beginning to warm up to Archana and there will be time when he will understand that he is doing injustice to Archana.
