I started watching PR when it started airing in the US and so I am about 2 months behind. We are at the part where Archu refuses to divorce Manav and Manav has already commited to marrying Shravani.

About Shravani's outburst - all I can say is why is she not showing this characteristic of hers in front of her father? Shravani is already 4 months preggy and by the time the court deadline of another 2 months goes by she will be 6 months preggy and it will definitely show. The chawl people and other will already come to know the reality. Society is going to talk anyways.

Knowing that Archana wants to give her all to make her marraige work and that both Archana and Manav love each other, her outburst does not make her look good. What if Archana was the type who would have turned around and said that Manav is her legally wedded husband and that she will go to court tomorrow and inform them that instead of trying to make the marriage work, Manav has got engaged to another girl and that she and Savi Aai are preventing them from working things out - where will they all stand - Manav included. (We know Archana would never do this - it is just a hypothetical question).

I have read the TB article and I hope that Vandu rises to the occasion now that she will come to know the truth about Ajit's involvement in the Manav-Archu misunderstanding. All she has done until now is smile and looks pretty and server water, tea and food to people. Hope she smacks some sense into Shravani and stands upto her mother to help her brother and vahini get back together.

Alas she never is going to . Shravni knows this very well . So does Manav. So does Savita . They all are taking advantage of this weakness which is being praised as strength by some of her fans in the forum .

Undoubtedly it is strength ....for to endure so much , strength is required . But it is MISPLACED strength .........strength used for strengthening evil ultimately and no one is seeing this . Archana knows by now that Manav loves her yet she doesnt want to stop his and shravnis wedding and in the process is listening to Savita and her evil plans . Even Vaishu told her ...either go after ur man or simply cut off . She can do neither and hence i dont see strength in her . Why shud strength be used for suffering silently .....whats the big great thing about it ? Strength is wasted there . Archana is wasting her strength .

Today in the kitchen while demanding cassette , Savita prodded her and pushed her again ..she took it . Why ? Anything noble there ? Only coz she is Manavs mom . So if she is Manavs mom , is any crime excusable ? And simply coz she loves Manav is bigamy excusable ?

But Archu wont ever report the bigamy ...........its not just Shravni , all know that and are having a gala time . So u see , the most to blame in this is the legally wedded wife who took this shit from both .....Shravni and Manav .

Ths decision was based on two things.......the knowledge that Shravni wud NOT abort the child and also the fact that idea , once it took root and grew on him that Sachins child was very much gonna come in this world , should then rather be in this DEshmukh home than anywhere else as it was THEIR blood . It is not just Girish's practicality or pressure as u put it ...........Manav took this decision with a great deal of thought . Girish was trying to find the best solution for this situation and manav agreed ....it fitted hand in glove .

Today .........exactly at this point if Shravni decides to leave the house what do u think the picture will be ? Manav will be relieved ?Somehow I just don't see that .I see him running frantically on the roadssearching for her . As for the episode today, I again liked Shravani's honesty. I do not like what she is doing, nor the way she dragged Archana, but I liked the honesty. Atleast she is upfront with both Manav and Archana about what she expects and feels. I know that people don't like what she says (I don't like it much either), but it must be seen that her honesty is far better than her planning from behind their backs (similar to Rasika and Ajit). The more blatant she is, the more Manav will realize what he is really getting into, causing him to further gravitate back towards the ever understanding Archana.

I agree with you on Damodar's expressions, they've been weird lately. In fact, I felt like in today's outburst scene, the Pyaasi Atma Shravani's expressions were better than Damodar's, which is a rare happening.

Here is another bout of pictures, I found them to be discontinuous.

So we see Shravani in the background. From that angle, she must be seeing Archana's back or Archana and Manav's tightly clasped hands.

In fact, the camera then shows us what Shravani is seeing from the doorway...

But then, when Shravani goes to close the door, voila, she's looking at Manav reaching for Archana's shoulder, when a few seconds ago he already had his hand on her shoulder and all Shravani could see was Archana's back.

That was just a glaring inconsistency to me.

Finally Miss Lux Super Model will do something substantial, its about time they did something with her character... even if it is the typical hero's-sister-in-distress track. Ajit has brought so much action back into this show, the rona-dhona was becoming tiring.

Not just that , toothbrush , after all this police complaint I wont be surprised if Lux super model actually marries Ajit in a future track as she wont get proposals frommarraige market which will doubt her virginity . The marraige market demands virgins . And PR is hell bent on showing that the only pathway to heaven for women is MARRAIGE albeit with a rapist .

There is no evidence shown in the show that conveys the abv underlined fact.

Its our assumption which is logical but I don't recollect any scene that I could draw such inference.

When Shravani is living with Deshmukhs then she is Manav's responsibilty and if she goes and have abortion how can Manav show his face to Girishji. Girishji trusted Manav with her daughters life and he betrays his trust by not taking care of Shravani. Didn't Girishji demand asnwer from Manav when he came to know abt abortion anyways. This is more of a reason for Manav for running to stop Shravani from abortion.

I don't remember coming across any evidence , from their dialogues, that they are eagerly waiting for baby to arrive or calling it memory of Sachin. Theres no preparation or excitment shown. Savita has sole interest of dowry from Shravani. Ok tell me, would Savita press Manav to marry Shravani if she was a poor girl, even if she had Sachin's child? Manav has himself told several times to Archana that he is repenting for Sachin's mistake and hence he is marrying Shravani and he said to give name to her child. They never said that its Sachin's child and so he should be in the family. These are middle class people who hv fear of society. Right now Shravani's pregnancy with Sachin's child is more of a stigma for them to worry abt rather than considering it to be Sachin's last memories. And as far as Manav's priority is concerned, I guess any man would make his priority to have his own kid instead of getting satisfied with dead brothers child.

I agree with Arien... in fact there was a line also in the show by Manav, "I will have to marry shravani bcoz if I don't, then who will? Who will hold her hand and face society about Sachin's child?"

He is concerned with only two things- Shravani should not be dishonoured, and the child should get a name. ANY NAME! They have never showed it this way that they want the child badly and want him to stay in the Deshmukh house only coz he is the heir. None of them ever derive a ray of positivity that Sachin is coming back in the form of the child. They aren't happy at all. They are always worried for the baby and their reputation. And I really don't take the excuse that they can't celebrate coz they are mourning/tensed/depressed. When they can have an anniversary party and some light moments at times, then why not think of the child with some love.
