Make Your Own Fruity Lip Gloss

So a lot of people seemed to love the 'How to Make Your Own Lip Gloss' post so I decided to share another favorite homemade lip gloss recipe with you which is just a little different than the other one and probably a little easier too. So here is how to make fruity lip gloss in the comfort of your own home.

Here's what you'll need:

2 Tbls solid shortening
1 Tbls fruit-flavored powdered drink mix
35 mm film container

Mix the shortening and the drink mix in a microwave safe bowl until it forms a smooth paste. Place the container in the microwave for about 30 seconds (until it forms to liquid). Pour the liquid into a clean film container and place in the fridge for about 20-30 minutes until it becomes firm.

And there you have it, your very own homemade fruity lip gloss. It's cheap, it's easy, and it smells and tastes amazing!

buying all that stuff isn worth it for me

thanks. but i think a readymade one is far easier to use. as it is i mostly use vaseline petroleum jelly. lol
