Firstly, I'm going to handle this discussion maturely and what I am going to post is only due to the character Samrat. 😳 So most of what you have refuted in your topic are basically my statements lifted out of another topic. Seems like what I have said has left an impact and is true to an extent that a topic needs to be made to refute it. 😊 Anyway, let me answer your question myself. 😉 All that I say is ALL MY PERSPECTIVE/POV. A person cannot be classified as a bad friend, because either they are a friend or not. Good friends and bad friends do not exist in my dictionary. Either you are a friend or not. If not a friend you can be an acquaintance. Okay so how does this deal with Samrat? Samrat is not a friend to Gunjan. How true your friendship comes in light during the tough situations. Buying gifts, meeting them at midnight, taking them out to eat, buying them a phone, etc. does not necessarily mean you are my best friend. Samrat met Gunjan and they became best friends all good, even then I thought they were friends of each other, till Sheena came in the picture. Samrat met Sheena and supposedly fell in love with her. Sheena told Samrat that you have to break your friendship off with Gunjan if you want to be with me. Samrat said no repeatedly. Sheena told Gunjan the same thing-break off your friendship with Samrat because I love him. Gunjan told Samrat that we have to break off our friendship, since you love Sheena. Samrat said no. Finally Gunjan said NO we are done being friends. And Samrat went to Sheena and said I accept you and your requirement of not being friends with Gunjan. Now Samrat wants both his love and friendship with Gunjan, that is why he has made a plan to have connection with them when the other is not around. Thus, Samrat proves he is not a friend, he does not understand what friendship actually means. I'm not only saying this in regards to Gunjan, but also with Benji. When does he actually care about what Benji says, when Benji has repeatedly said you spend too much time with Sheena and not with me! What does Samrat do? He ignores Benji. Now Now I'm NOT saying Samrat is a bad person, I'm saying he is NOT a friend and needs to understand what friendship means!
A friendship doesn't break off because of one person, it breaks off because of all that are involved in the friendship. You cannot blame a third person for the weakness in your friendship. Sheena is not to blame here at all, yes her coming into the picture and playing with Samrat's emotions is wrong, but again Samrat doesn't even know what friendship is and he clearly is NOT in love with Sheena either because he doesn't know what LOVE is either! You do not drop your friend for your love and you do not give up on your friendship. You also do not accept a person, who told you to break off your friendship. Samrat accepting Sheena even after the truth that she cannot stand Samrat-Gunjan's friendship shows that he does not care for Gunjan as a friend. If that is something so hard to see, I do not know how else to explain it. 😕 Anyway again I say Samrat is not a bad person. I'm saying he is not a friend, thus before he realizes his LOVE he needs to realize FRIENDSHIP and the meaning of it.
On the other hand, Gunjan proves to be a great friend, who for the sake of her best friend's happiness has killed her own happiness. She knows the meaning of friendship, but Samrat does not.
It's not so harmful to Samrat's fans or supporters at all to admit Samrat's lack of knowledge of friendship. I think what creatives are doing right now is trying to get Samrat to understand what friendship is and only then will he be able to understand his love too. All relationships have depth to them, they cannot all be composed of superficial emotions. 😳
