Ooo! Another glitch in this interview!

Kareena ALWAYS says that Chameli was her turning point. Even until her most recent interviews, if I can find em, she always pinpoints to Chameli as the point at which her career took a turn.

Meh, this interview is made up! I have come to that conclusion, and Desu says so, it must be so! 😃

I just don't get why all the journalists who interview bollywood celebs ask them the same lamo question about hollywood?? Like seriously what is the big deal if they go to hollywood or not?? It's like saying bollywood ain't good enough and the only way to become a true STAR or a great actor is if you've done hollywood movies??

Seriously, I love bollywood just as much (if not more) than hollywood. We make some pretty awesome movies yaar. (this is the desi girl in me talking)...

Anyways, ignoring the desi bashan above, it makes sense if a hollywood movie casts an Indian actor because they are fitting for the role...like Ash in Provoked, they needed an indian actor to play the part. If the script demands an indian actor then haan bhai haan it makes sense but otherwise avin faltu mein....o jee dekho I'm going into hollywood movies, I'm such a star jee!??? so dumb...

Besides, the whole world is becoming so multicultural now anyways, it'd be cool if hollywood and bollywood actors came together, but I think it's so dumb of the journalists to ask EVERY time if they're planning to do hollywood movies.

But ya I really don't like Kareena's reason for not wanting to do hollywood movies, I just mean in general about journalists.

this i'll disagree with. and strongly too :) .... hollywood is obsessed with beauty and size zero. It is crazy out there. bollywood is still toned down when compared.

actually, it's the same in both places... it's not more... otherwise, actresses like catherine zeta jones, eva mendes, rosario dawson would not be considered amongst the finest actresses we have... and they are not exactly convential beauties... how many actresses have been rejected in bollywood because they are not exactly pretty... you need layers and layers of make-up to hide your skin tone if you are dusky...! if that is not being obsessed, then i don't know what is... 😛

now the size zero craze, it is most common in modelling world, i suppose...
