We should not forget that he has given us some of the greatest movies ever and given chance to new talent !! His downfall came after he made Trimurti. Then Taal and then all the rubbish !! Every year in october he used to release one film, but this time in June paying guest !! Well everyone has their days and his were there now gone !! He will always be remebered with good movies !! Although he became useless lately !! Still we should wish him all the best in the future !!

bolded parts, completely agree...

he has made some great movies like Kali Charan, Karz (which took rishi's career to new heights, same with others concerned), Hero (which changed Jackie's career), Meri Jung (anil's), karma, saudaagar, khalnayak (sanjay's), pardes and taal... he has made some excellent movies and we should not forget that...

yeah, lately he had made some crap movies but like Sneh says, everyone has their days... it's unfortunate but he will always be remembered for his good movies....
