In the morning a doctor checks up on jyoti as sachin and uncle watch and then calls then outside. He tells then that everything looks good because she didnt inhale too much gas and says that they will have to keep her on oxygen for a little while longer. Sachin asks if there is any internal damage and the doctor says no and that he would have told them to take her to the hospital if that was the case. Sachin then tells the doctor to keep the information that this was a suicide attempt to himself as this could be a police case and also because people like to talk. The doctor says okay and then tells then that jyoti will heal physically soon but her mental wounds will take longer and tell them to ensure that jyoti remins very happy.
Sachin says okay and walks into the room to sit on the bed. He holds jyoti's hand and tells her that she can be as angry as she wants and she still looks beautiful but he never wants to see her sad. He says that if she will give him a chance then he will keep her happy for the rest of her life and wont a single problem touch her. He whispers that he wont let anything hurt her.
kamal rolls in sudha's room and sees her sitting on the bed staring off into space and asks if she slept but she doesnt respond. he touches her leg and she sits up shocked and then asks about jyoti. kamal says he is a horrible father and asks for forgiveness saying he hurt her and jyoti but he only did it so that they would have a mother's love. he then says that he turned out to be handicapped in this area too. sudha tells him not to say such things.
deepu runs in and sudha asks him where jyoti is as he was supposed to get her. he says she is at shishu mangal but wouldnt talk to him. he then says that jyoti loves sudha a lot and will come home if she asks and sudha nods smiling and looks at kamal who tells her to bring their home's jyoti back. sudha tells kamal that jyoti and her love him a lot and that jyoti will come back when her and sandeep ask her too. dadi watches from the door and asks god to forgive her for not understanding and treating sudha so badly.
deepu and sudha are walking and deepu asks what is in the bag. sudha says their are clothes and things for jyoti who must need them since she left with nothing. deepu tells her that she is amazing. he then says that kamal thinks he is the reason everyone is unhappy but the real reason is himself and that he is thw root of everything because he never took his responsibilities seriously. He says that he treated her wrong as well and apologizes and she shakes her head and puts a hand on his shoulder. he says that when thye bring jyoti home they will all start life on a new note but sudha says that jyoti wont come home easily as they hurt her a lot and she will be very angry at them and that if she wanted to she could have come home with him the night before. deepu agrees and asks what they should do. sudha says they should talk to kalpana because jyoti will never not listen to her.
kalpana is in a room with uncle and sachin while sudha and deepu are outside. kalpana tells them that she didnt know that jyoti was here and that they was an issue at home the night before and that deepu and sudha brought her. Sachin asks what could have happened that was so bad because jyoti tried to kill herself. Kalpana looks shocked to hear this. She repeats what he said and asks how she is. Sachin says she tried to inhale cooking gas but she is okay now and tells her the doctor just left. He then says that Jyoti would do anything for her family so he doesnt understand what happened. He asks if the people that came with her told her anything. Kalpana says things happen in families but sachin says not like this because she being jyoti's friend must know that jyoti never hurt anyone so kalpana must be hiding something from him. She just stutters and he says that he is also jyoti's well wisher and needs to know in order to take care of jyoti properly. Kalpana wipes her tears and tells them that things went wrong at home and jyoti found out that padma is her step mother. Sachin and uncle look shocked and sachin says that that could push someone to do anything. Kalpana says they cant change what happened and now have to take care of jyoti. She asks if she can meet her. Sachin says she is sleeping but she can see her but not her family members as the doctor has asked them to keep her away from stress. He says she will get stressed if deepu and sudha try to see her and that will not be good for her. kalpana says that she understand as she is a psychiatrist her self and says she will talk to them.
deepu asks how jyoti is and kalpana tells them that jyoti got a little sick but is fine now. sudha says they should take her home but kalpana says that that would not be good for jyoti at the moment. she says sudha knows what has happened at home and if they take her home she will become stressed and the doctor has told them to keep her away from stress. Deepu says okay. Sudha asks if they can see her once and deepu nods. Kalpana looks at uncle who nods yes to her.
Uncle opens the door and they all stare at her. When sudha tries to go to jyoti calling out her name but kalpana pulls her back and then uncle closes the door and sudha stares at jyoti until the door closes completely.
jyoti is sitting up in bed staring off into space as sachin sits next to her stroking her hair. He says she doesnt look good sad and says that he isnt used to seeing her that way. he says sometimes she seems so complicated and at other times she is just like a little kid. He says she wins over anyone so how can anyone hurt her. he says god has made a wonderful relationship of friendship so that what is lacking in other relationships can be made up for by friends. when she doesnt respond he says that he has never told her about his family and so he'll tell her now. He starts to say that is a small family but then stops seeing her blank face and says he will let her meet them himself. He says they are very nice and will love her a lot and she will like meeting them. he begs her to get better soon.
At night dada from dance class walks into her room and sits next to her. he asks how she is and says his eyes cant believe that what he is seeing is her. He strokes her hair and says that the jyoti he knew wasnt like this. Sachin and kalpana watch and sachin asks her if this will work. kalpana says this technique works most of the time and dance is jyoti's passion and her life and that may pull her out of her depression.
Dada tells jyoti that sadness is for regular people and that artists make it their strength. He says she will have to do the same. He tells her to get up and grab his hand but she doesnt respond. He says he knows that she is thinking that everything is over but that is not true because this art is god's gift and no one can steal it from her as this art is her fate. he tells her to get up because the time has come to come with him and to leave this sadness behind into a new life into the life of art once again and he asks if she is listening and tells her to get up and to use her art to leave this darkness behind. he shouts at her to get up but she doesnt respond. He asks her what world is she in that his voice wont reach her. He says she is light but it seems that she is lost in darkness and he begs her to talk to him. Just then jyoti looks at him and says that Jyoti is dead. Everyone stares at her and she looks scary!
PREVIEW: Sudha is shouting at jyoti asking her why she tried to kill herself and then says she wants her old jyoti back and pleads with her.
