Teachers do leave... I left three jobs, but all with ample notice and at the end of the term. I left them because I wasn't happy with the way things were being run. And I left all of them without having another one on the anvil. However, most of us don't usually jump ships in the middle, no matter how lucrative the offer is. 😊

on that thought, i wish some of those teachers did leave. like the physics high-school teacher. 59 minutes out of 60 used to be about his odd-ball life experiences, 1 minute was the same physics that he'd repeat every class. and then he'd have the gall to chase someone around the quad with his chappals. for what? for simply dismantling his bike. kya yaar.😆

but hindi and chem teachers were good. real good.😉😉😉 the kinds that should never leave.😉😆

i have no idea how i made it past that class to where i did. he'd try to pretend that the 59 mins were a necessary foreplay to whatever punch-line he was trying to pack in that one min.😆 For a while we even thought it was important. Much later, we figured out what a zero he was.

Woh kehtey hain na - ek minute ka saaransh! 😆 At least, you had that. I wonder how I passed high school physics and maths. The maths one was even better - we used to solve problems when she got stuck doing them on the board 😆
