Excerpt

We've even heard from a reliable source that SRK has planned to invite 400 barbers and their families for the premiere of his film "Billu Barber" instead of flooding the event with stars and film personalities!

"On 12th of this month, SRK will be inviting barbers and their families to attend the first show of his film Billu Barber at Chandan cinema Juhu,"confirmed a unit had of Billu Barber.

Talking more about the film he added, "Friends of Shah Rukh like Karan Johar and Farah Khan have seen the film and have loved it. Karan has even praised the film on his personal blog."

Now if Aamir made the multiplex guys go Ganja, errr Ghajini-esque, and himself became a barber by giving Ghajini haircuts to few, SRK has gone a step ahead and invited the barbers themselves to attend the premiere!

Phew! The competition between the two Khans is definitely getting hotter and we wont complain. After all it will only extract the best out of these two superstars.

This rivalry is indeed HIT-HIT Shah Rukh.

Aggressive marketing seems to be the mantra of filmmakers today. If Aamir Khan got barber's to give the ushers at some multiplexes a buzz-cut, after his own style, to promote Ghajini, Shah Rukh Khan has gone a step further. SRK has planned to invite about 400 barbers, from across Maharashtra with their families, at the premiere of Billu Barber.

Director Priyadarshan confirmed the story and said, "Instead of having celebs over for the premiere of Billu Barber, Shah Rukh has planned to invite 400 barbers and their families to the premiere. His idea is to welcome barbers for the premiere on February 12, as the film revolves around Irrfan Khan, who plays a barber. Things are just getting organised for the premire and the office is also in talks with the barbers' association to get everything sorted for the big day."

Red Chillies' Billu Barber revolves around the story of two childhood friends, one a poor village barber, played by Irrfan Khan and a superstar (Shah Rukh Khan) and the equation between these friends from diverse backgrounds. The characters are based on Lord Krishna and Sudama."
