Satia and his boss talk about going to the office to settle some worker's problem. Neelambari comes there and tells them she wants to follow them to the office that day. Satia tells her to stay home and rest. Neela tells them that she knows about the strike instigated by the Union leaders and wants to solve the problem. Satia objects but her father tells her to go ahead.

Chandra's mother Rajalakshi is walking with her brother who is a drunkard and gambler. He wants to borrow $2000 from her but she gives him only $200 saying that is all she has. The brother leaves saying he will return the money when he wins the card game. Neela's worker's are gathered in front of the office and are shouting. Satia arrives and the Union leaders asks where is the boss. Satia says the boss has sent his daughter to settle their problems and wants the main person to go in on behalf of the workers to talk. Both the union leaders tell the workers they will talk on their behalf and asks them to wait outside. Satia takes them in and introduces them to Neela. Neela gives Satia a piece of paper and after reading the contents, Satia tells her to wait for 2 minutes and leaves. Once outside, he tells the workers that they will all hear what is being discussed inside. His driver brings a loudspeaker and sets it on a chair and the mike is set on the opening of a window in Neela's office. Satia tells the workers to listen to everything that is going on.

Inside, Neela tells the workers if she conforms to their requests, her company will lose 20 lakhs. She wants to know what she can do to stop that. The two leaders tell her to pay them each 2 lakhs and they will not proceed with their demands and she can save 18 lakhs. Neela asks what about the workers. The men says the workers are idiots and will listen to what they say. Neela just laughs and tells the mento see her in the evening and they will get the money.

Satia asks the workers if they are satisfied with their leaders. The workers get really angry. The Union leaders come out pretending they have spoken to the boss and the boss has agreed to discuss the matter further in a few days. The workers get angry and beat the two men. Neela comes out and tells her workers to stop. She says she will punish people who stab on the back and dismisses the men. She then tells her workers to go back to work and to come to her themselves if they have any need and she will take care of it. Satia goes home and tells his boss how well Neela solved the problems. Both men praise Neela's aptitude for business and Satia tells the boss that he can now leave the business to Neela and retire. NEela's father is very happy to hear this and wants Satia to take care of the legalities to make Neela the boss of their business.

Neela goes to a store and is greeted by the owner. Neela is looking at some sarees and sees Chandra's reflection on a mirror. Neela looks at the reflection and turns around but Chandra hides. Neela thinks for a minute and calls the store owner and tells him something (muted dialog) and leaves. After Neela leaves, the owner calls Chandra and dismisses her. Chandra pleads with her boss but he says he has lost a huge sale due to her attitude. Chandra leaves the store.

Satia's wife and son wait for Satia but he is still not home. She goes in and sits down sad. Satia arrives home and sees the cake on the table and tries to apologize to his wife but she would not listen to him. Satia explains about the stike at work and how it was solved. His wife tells him that it is more important to make his son happy and walks away. Satia's son come there and Satia apologizes. His son tells him it is okay and after calming the wife, they cut the cake and celebrate.

Chandra is sitting down very worried. Her mother comes there and asks why she is back from work early. Chandra tells her that she has been dismissed. Her mother asks why. Chandra tells her that it was because of Neela who is very arrogant because she is rich and had told the boss that she was rude and becauseof that she was sacked. Chandra says that Neela was flaunting her wealth and was very proud. Chandra feels Neela is very snobish. THODARUM.

Neelambari is in her car going to work. The car stops unexpectedly and after checking, Neela's driver tells her that the belt broke and he has to go to town to get a replacement. Neela tells her she needs to go to the office soonest and asks her driver to stop any oncoming car and ask for a ride. The car thieve drives by and is stopped. Neela asks for a ride and explains her plight and the man agrees to give her a ride. Both introduce themselves and the man is smitten with Neela.

Neela and Satia walk into the office. Chandra sees Neela and hesitates to get up and is noticed by Satia. They walk in and a staff bring in a file. Neela tells the lady to ask Chandra to come in. Chandra comes in and is asked to sit down. Neela asks how Chandra is doing and when Chandra answers she is doing fine, Neela says it isnot true. Neela chides Chandra for not coming to see her sooner. Neela then appoints Chandra as her personal assistant and tells Satia to show her the office. Satia takes Chandra out and before leaving Chandra thanks Neela. Satia takes Chandra out and tells her that in the office Neela is the boss and they are all employees and she should not forget that. In the office Neela must be addressed as 'Madam, but outside the office it is up to them how they want to call each other and socialize. He tells Chandra to follow the office rules closely and Chandra nods her head.

The car thief and his friend is in a park and the thievf tells his friend about Chandra and how beautiful she is. His friend does not believe him but says as long as he is happy he will be too. The thief tells his friend that he had never seen a beauty like Neela. THODARUM

Continued from yesterday, Rajagopal, the thief is telling about Neela's beauty to his friend. Neela and Chandra walk out of the office and Neela is looking through some file. A man is hiding with a knife and Chandra notices it but doesn't tell Neela. Neela doesn't know and when they come near the man comes out and stabs, but Chandra moves infront of neela and is stabbed. Neela calls for help and asks her staff to catch the man. The catch him and bring him to her. Neela asks why he tried to kill her. At first the man says he doesn't like Neela but after Neela slaps him and asks him again, he says he was hired by the Union leaders she sacked the other day. They were angry with her for embarrasing them. Neela reports the matter to thepolice and they are arrested.

Neela is in a restaurant. The thief, Rajagopal enters and sees a lady(Neela) sitting at a table and also sees an expensive diamond ring on the lady's finger. At the same, Neela gets up and the man 'accidently' bumps into her. He then sees Neela, who also sees him and is surprised and thank him and asks him to have coffee/ice cream with her. Rajagopal refuses at first but complies. Once seated, Neela realizes her ring missing and gets upset but tells Rajagopal not to worry about it because it is only a ring. She doesn't want to upset Rajagopal with her loss. Rajagopal however refuses to eat and takes leave. He is relieved to escape with Neela's ring.

Chandra is admitted in the hospital. Her mother sits by her and grumbles as usual. She asks why should Chandra get stabbed and she should have let the man stab Neela. She is worried about the hospital bills. Chandra says the pain of seeing Neela richer than her and having a better life is greater that the pain of the stab wound. She says she saw an opportunity to get respect and path to a better life and she took it. Her uncle comes with some medicine and Chandra's mother says she had asked her brother to accompany her as her father is at home with a bad cough. Chandra asks her mother to make sure that her brother doesn't start his nonsense at hte hospital.

Neela and her father tells the doctor to give the best treatment to Chandra and that all expenses will be taken care of them. They then visit Chandra and Neela's father thanks Chandra for saving Neela's life. He tells her that from now Chandra is also his daughter and for her to ask anything she wants from him. The then tel Chandra to take full rest and come to work when she is fully and totally recovered. The also tell her not to worry about the bills as they will take care of it.

Neela is in her office and one of her staff comes in and tells her that Chandra's father died. Neela is shocked. In the meantime, Chandra's house owner had put both her and her mother outside and locked the door. He asks them to settle the 6 months rental owned and then take their belongings. Another men who had taken careof the funeral and other thing also ask the ladies to settle their bills. They insult them and Chandra's mother starts crying. Neela comes there and telsl the men off and asks Chandra why she had not told her the problems as she would have taken care of it. She then tells the men to come to her office the next day and she willsettle their accounts. Neela then asks Chandra and her mother to follow her to her house and tells them to stay with her. Chandra refuses and first but Neela tells her not to refuse and takes them with her. She takes them into her house and tells her father and he too agrees. Neela tells her servant to get a room ready for the ladies as they would be staying with her. Chandra says she and her mother will stay in their out house but Neela will not hear of it. THODARUM

Satia tells Neela about the groom he and her father had chosen for Neela. Neela tells him there is no hurry for the marriage. Satia takes out Rajkumar's photo and shows Neela and she smiles. Satia tells her that he had fixed an appointment for Rajkumar to come to the house to meet her. Neela tells him that she will decide after talking to Rajkumar.

Neela and Chandra get ready to leave for Chennai to attend the award ceremony. Rajalakshmi comes there and tells them that she had prepared some food for them to eat on the way. Neela tells her they don't need the food as it is only an hour flight to Chennai and that they will be staying and dining at a 5-star hotel where the ceremony will be conducted and then they will be back the same night. Rajalakshmi says she does not know about all this things. Neela walks to the living and sees her father sitting there. She finds him running a temperature and wants to cancel her trip as her father is more important than anything else. Father tells Neela not to worry and fuss as it is just a fever but Neela refuses to listen to him and Chandra agrees with her. Father then tells Neela to at least send a representative from the company as it is an honor given to them. Neela suggests Chandra to take her place and father agrees. Chandra refuses at first but Neela tells her it is her order and she has to go. Neela tells Chandra to cancel her ticket and fo in her place.

The marriage broker is looking for Rajkumar to tell him about the marriage proposal. He meets Rajkumar on the way and tells him the good news. Rajkumar does not believe at first but after the broker tells him abou the appointment the next day, he is excited.

In Chennai, Chandra is mesmerized with all the attention given to her by the people gathered there. She in fact went there as Neelambari and acccepted the award. After returning, Chandra is so engrossed at being Neela that when her mother calls her by her name, she says she is not Chandra but Neelamabari. Rajalakshmi is shocked and calls Chandra again. Chandra wakes up to the call and asks is her mother called. Rajalakshmi asks her what happened and why she is so engrossed in some thoughts since she returned. Chandra relives the life she lived as Neelambari for the past 24 hours and feels that she is unable to return to her own self. She wants to go away from there as she is not able to handle her life without all the luxuries Neela is ennjoying. Rajalakhsmi laughs at her daughter as asks why should they leave when they can live like Neela. They should get Neela out and if need get rid of her from the face of the world. Chandra is shocked to hear this but after her mother says this is the way to live a rich life and the past 24 hours was just an example Chandra agrees to her mother's plan.

Chandra, Neela's father and Satia are waiting in the living and Neela's father is impatient that Neela nad Rajkumar are taking too long in talking. Satia tells him to be patient because this meeting is very important to both Neela and Rajkumar. In another room, Neela and Rajkumar are talking. Neela tells Rajkumar that she know he is a good man after meeting a few times. Rajkumar thinks to himself that she does not know his true self. After talking a few moments, Neela asks what Rajkumar will do if she refuses to marry him. Rajkumar looks at Neela. THODARUM.

Continued from yesterday - Neela asks Rajkumar if she refused to marry him, what he would do. Rajkumar says one should do what one thinks is right. Neela is happy to hear this and tells him so. She asks him if he likes her. Rajkumar thinks to himself that he can use her money to help others and says he like her. Both go out and meet the others. Everyone agrees to the alliance. Next day Chandra meets Neela at her office. Neela tells Chandra that she and Satia are leaving to see about buying land and will tell her about it later and wants her to take care of the office while they are away. Chandra says ok and tells Neela that they maybe payments to be made and wants her to inform the accountant. Neela says no need to tell the accountant and takes out the checkbook and signs a few blank checks and gives her and leaves. After Neela leaves, Chandra looks at Neela's seat and sits on it and sees the check book on the table. She looks at the checks signed by Neela and also the checkbook. Chandra takes out a piece of paper and starts to practice signing Neela's name. She then forges Neela's signature on a check and writes 2 lakhs on it.

Chandra returns home with a brieftcase and sets it on the table and opens it. The brieftcase is filled with cash. Chandra looks and feels the money with greed. Her mother enters and sees the money and asks how she got it. Chandra tells her about she writing a check for 2 lakhs and forging Neela's signature. Her mother is very happy. Chandra wants to buy the house they had rented before. Her mother asks why and Chandra says it is the house they lived in before becoming rich and wants it as a symbol. Chandra tells her mother she likes the smell of money and wants all the wealth in the world to be at her feet. Neela's servant who is passing buy sees the ladies looking at the money and talking. He stays and watch them for a while and leaves. Chandra's mother wants more money and for them and one day even their hand towels must be hard currency. Chandra says that will happen and for her mother to sleep peacefully. Rajalakshmi goes in very happy

Neela's father is in the yard and the servant comes with milk for him. Neela's father asks the man to massage his leg. The man sits down and massages his leg and starts saying that he might have made a mistake by allowing Chandra and her mother into the house. Neela's father asks what he means, and the servant tells him he saw both the ladies with a lot of money and discussing something. The boss tells him not to believe everything he sees without finding out the actual facts. The servant tells it would have been better if they had found out about Chandra and her mother before bringing them into the house. Neela's father tells his servant that Chandra saved his daughter's life and would not do anything to them. The servant tries again to warn him but is asked to go in. After the servant leaves, Neela's father starts thinking.

Neela is showing the blue print of the land they came to purchase. She then tells about another piece of land which is only 10 acres and costs 5 lakhs but someone had offers 10 lakhs and paid 1 lakh deposit to the owner. She calles the landowner and tells him that she will give him 20 lakhs for the land and wants the land to be registered to her. The man hesitates at first but agrees. After the seller leaves Satia asks why Neela is buying a land costing 5 lakhs for 20 lakhs but she tells him to wait until Mr. Asai meets them the next day. Next day

Chandra is talking to one of Neela company's supplier. She asks if the supplier wants their business as usual and if he knows that only if she okays the purchase he will get the business. The man says yes. Chandra asks if he wants the contract what will she get from him. The supplier asks what she wants and she tells him 1 lakh. The man agrees and says he will bring the cash himself the next day and leaves. Chandra smiles very satisfied.

Mr. Asai meets Neela and Satia. Asai tells Neela to hurry and decide about purchasing the land as there are many buyers wanting to buy the land. He says one acre is 2 lakhs and 1000 acres cost 2 crores (sorry if i miscalculated). Neela asks if the others know about the land, they will not buy it. Asai asks what she is talking about. Neela tells Satia to give Asai a file. Asai opens the file to read. THODARUM.

Satia's wife bring coffee to Satia and starts complaining about how she was embarrassed at her cousin's wedding. Satia tells her about his boss's condition and explains to her that he is bound by his duties for the boss and Neela as they helped him to be who he is today. Satia tells his wife to be understanding and leaves. Neela is alone and thinks about her past with her father, how they had been happy together. Satia comes to him and asks what is wrong and why she is standing alone in the cold. Neela tells him she cannot bear to see her father in such a condition and cries. Satia tells her to be brave and learn to accept and face the situation. Satia tells Neela to take care of her father with love and not to show her sorrow because her father will not be able to live seeing Neela sad.

Rajalakshmi is happy that Satia and Neela are not suspecting them. Her brother tells her they cannot think like that and must kill the old man int he hospital. Rajalakshmi says they cannot do that because, then the suspicion will fall on them. She says that now Neela will not be able to concentrate on her business and they will be able to grab everything and run off. Her brother says they should get everything. Rajalakshmi says that Satia is a hinderance but her brother tells her to pretend that she is very sad and worried about Neela's father. He does not want Neela to ever suspect them. Satia waits for the servant and when he comes, he asks how long he has been working there. He then asks what happened the day before. The man tells Satia that normall the boss will ring the bell for anything but yesterday, he does not know how he had gone outside and fell down. Satia then asks who saw the boss first. He tells Satia that Chandra, her uncle and mother were there. They all ran out hearing Chandra scream Satia then asks who else came to the house and is told about Chandra's old houseowner who had come there because Chandra was going to buy the house from him. Satia tells him not to talk without any proof. The man tells Satia tha he was there when the hosueowner told the boss. Satis starts thinling. The man then says he wants to go see his boss at the hospital. Satia tells him to go but the man hesitates, Satia asks what else and he tells about Chandra having alot of money and how he had told the boss and that since Chandra and her mother entered the house, alo of thing have been going on.

Chandra walks out with her bag and Neela asks where she is going. Chandra asks where she is going and Chandra telsl her that she does not want to leave as people are talking bad about her. Satia enters and Neela tells Satia and before Satia opens his mount, Chandra says she herself will tell. Chandra starts talking about how the servant started talking bad about her. She says that her uncle had bought the old house for her but everyone is saying that she had bought the house with the money stolen from Neela. Chandra cries and tells that all the money are accounted for and does not want Neela to call her a thief and that is why she is leaving. Satia watches this quietly. Neela stops Chandra saying she will not let Chandra go and tells Chandra to go inside. Neela tells Satia to tell Neela not to go. Satia also tells Chandra that he will not let her go. He will only allow her go when the right time comes and to the rightful place. Chandra then agrees to stay, Neela is very happy. Neela bends down to get her suitcase and looks up at Satia and gives a villi smile. THODARUM.

Chandra mom and her brother discussing, chandra's mom telling abt the servant trying to tell abt them to neela's father and she somehow sent him to his home town. she is telling all the people against them shud be killed and they shud rule all neela's sothu. her brother tells he will take care of the servant and will finish him next day. next day he goes to the servant's town see him in a market, he kills the servant and walks without any tension from there as non one notice he only killed the servant.

2. neela near her father crying, her dad is trying to tell something neela telling not to strain. sathya moorathy tells he know what her father is trying to tell and he will explain to her. he calls neela outside and tells her father wants her to get married very soon. but neela is not ready when her father is like this, but sathyamoorthy makes her to accept telling anything can happen to her father anytime so better marry soon and make him happy. he tells in 2 days good muhurth day so let the marrige be on that day. neela tells how come in such a short notice and how rajkumar will accept, sathya tells make him understand and he will accept. neela tells ok and tells let the marriage be simple in register office and only her close friends called. sathya agrees.

3. neela meets rajkumar, she tells abt the marriage date, rajkumar tries to tell her she is doing this without thinking and not knowing fully about him. but neela shuts him and tells he is such a nice man and she dont want to know anymore and tells she loves him and tells him to be ready for marriage and leaves.

4. chandra, her mom and maama all doing discussion. chandara telling soon she will be owner of all the sothu of neela. chandra's mom telling abt sathya moorthy and how to get rid of him, her brother tells lets go and spread news that sathyamoorthy is hving connection with neela and sahtya wife will hear this and big problem will come and they will leave from there. then she is worried abt neela's wudbe rajkumar, chanra tells she will take care of it and stop the marriage somehow. chandra's maama now tells he visarichufy abt rajkumar and he is not a rich guy and actually a thief and fraud. chandra tells then its very easy and no need to stop the marriage and she will take care of how to finish neela.

5. rajkumar and his friend sitting before house and discussing, rajkumar telling he went to meet neela and tell to stop the marriage becoz her dad is ill but instead neela used the oppurtunity to let him know abt marriage date and she telling she love him. he feels to his friend he is not the rite person for neela and lot of other good ppl might be there perfect jodi for neela and he didnt know wat to do. he tells when neela told she loves him he was speachless becoz all these days she never spoke like that and today she telling she lving him. chandra come there, both getup chandra tells him the marriage venue and his dresses will be ready, rajkumar is quite. chandra tells to rajkumars friend she wants to talk to him something personal and she wants him to leave from there. rajkumars friend leave from there, chandra now starts to speak. she tells she knows everything about rajkumar and he is a fraud and tells when he is going to kill neela, rajkumar is shocked and tries to tell he is not so, but chandra continues rajkumar is trying to marry neela for money and chandra is also behind money so if rajkumar finish neela they can share the money of neela, rajkumar is shocked and standing....
