Chapter 1

After Jai Walia had announced his engagement to the beautiful and sexy, Pia Dixit, the Walia Mansion was busy preparing for the wedding of the most eligible bachelor of the country. The wedding was set in 4 months but they had decided to start early as they want to avoid any last minute preparation. Bani has also accepted the fact that her sister, Pia, would be very happy with Jai Walia.

One day, a few weeks after the engagement, Jai was as usual in his office busy with his laptop. While he was doing his work he felt tired so he decided to rest a while. He rests his head on his high back chair and closed his eyes a while to relax when suddenly an image of Bani came to his mind. He was so shocked that he opened his eyes, ?Why am I thinking about Bani? I should be thinking about Pia instead, Jai Walia get a grip of yourself,? he scolded himself.

The persistent knocking on his cabin door broke his chain of thoughts; he composed himself and said in full authoritive voice, ?Come in.? There stood the object of his thoughts, Bani Dixit, his general manager. ?Good morning, Mr. Walia. I would like you to check this business proposal before it is being faxed to the bank,? she said with a smile on her face. ?Ya, sure,? Jai said and looked at the file presented by her. While he was looking through the file, he also secretly glanced at her, checking her out. ?Although she is wearing the uniform, she still looks beautiful. Her eyes are so full of expression and her lips?.. I wish I could kiss them and taste how does it feel? What am I thinking? I should not be thinking like that, she is going to be my sister-in-law soon,? he thought.

Bani was feeling a bit uncomfortable with the stares that he was giving to her. She wished he would stop looking at her like that but she also can?t deny that she is falling for him. The ringing of the telephone broke their thoughts. ?Jai Walia speaking???? WHAT?! How could you?ll be so careless? I wonder why I hired you?ll in the first place????? Alright I?ll be there in 3 days.? With that he slammed the phone down and was cursing the caller. When he looked up he saw that Bani was still there, ?Bani the proposal is fine, you can go ahead and fax it. Bani, I would be going to London and this time I want you also to follow me there. Be ready we will be leaving in 2 days time, i.e. on Sunday cause by the time we reach there it will be Monday but in London it will still be Sunday. Do you have any questions?? he said. ?Err??yes, Mr. Walia. What time we would leave from here? Which files would you want to bring along? What type of clothes should I bring along and for how long would we be staying there?? asked Bani. ?I?m not so sure of the time yet but you don?t worry I will inform you the latest by tonight before dinner. You don?t have to bring any files as I have all the related files and the others are in London. As for the type of clothes, well bring some casual clothes as it is summer now, formal like you suits, uniform and sarees for any for formal occasion and also semiformal clothes like salwars. By the way pack more as we will be staying there for about one month. Anything else, Bani. If not then please resume your work,? said Jai. ?Certainly, Mr. Walia,? with that Bani took her file and left his cabin. After she left, he cursed himself as to why he wants to bring her and not any other person. Actually, he could have gone on his own but he wanted to bring her along. Why? he wondered. That is the million dollar question that he couldn?t answer.

Chapter 2

He called his secretary and told her to make the necessary arrangements for him and Bani. During lunch he got a phone call from Pia telling that she won't be in the house for dinner because she is going to a high-class kitty party with her new model friends. Jai told her that he would be going to London in 2 days to which she said she will get her list ready on what she wants him to buy for her from there, and then she kept down the phone. He thought that she is least bothered about what he does, if before marriage she is like this then what is going to happen after marriage. After that he called his Masi and told her about this, she seemed quiet sad. He could make that out from her voice. He wondered why Pia won't behave a bit like that. He then brushed out all his thoughts and continued his work. At the same time, he realized how Pia's attitude changed since the engagement. At around 5 pm, his secretary informed him that she has told the servants to clean his house in London and they would be boarding the British Airways at 11 pm on Sunday.

Later at around 6 pm he packed up and decided to head home. He told the driver to go home because he thought that he would be late as the next day was Saturday and he won't be working. As he was leaving his office, he saw Bani locking her office room. She was shocked to see him there, he signaled her to follow and she followed him silently. While driving he told her the details of their flight, then there was silence between them. Occasionally he will keep glancing at her and saw that she seemed sad but he didn't dare to ask her. Later he couldn't take it so he asked her, "Bani, what is it? Why do you look sad?" At first, Bani was shocked but she composed herself and said, "Nothing, Mr. Walia, its just that this will be my first time on a flight and the first time I will be leaving Pia and Rano alone. I'm just feeling nervous and scared, that's all." "Don't worry, Bani. Masi, Dadi and Aditya will be there to take care of them." "I know Mr. Walia. Other than that, the wedding is in 3 months and there are still a lot of things that needs to be arranged." "Don't worry Bani there is still time and I'm sure that Masi will help you in all the arrangements."

When they reached Walia Mansion, Jai and Bani walked through the door together. Masi who was sitting in the living room talking to Dadi and Aditya, saw them coming together and thought, "How nice if Munna had chosen Bani instead of Pia? But what am I to say it is his life after all as long as he is happy that is all that I want." She greeted them and told them to wash their hands and legs before joining all of them for dinner. During dinner, Jai announced that he would be going to London for one month but this time around he is bringing Bani together with him. While he said that, he watched all of their facial expression. He saw that Rano was a bit sad with the news, he assumed that it's because Bani will be following him and they won't be able to see each other for one month. What puzzled him was Masi's expression, he saw that there was a sly smile on her face replacing the sad one which he had seen earlier but he didn't really pay much attention to that.
