At the Handa House........

Rano is very happy that her son Vicky is back. Annie and Riya are also overjoyed. One of Rano's biggest wishes has finally been fulfilled.

Now her attention turns toward Geet.

"What about Geet?" she thinks.

I didn't even recognize that "She is pregnant", I was always worried about Vicky only, infact its always been my son for me, Geet is the independent one, she takes care of herself and also the family, haina?

Now she is carrying a baby, its our responsibility as a family to take care of her, haina?

After Vicky's return, Rano had almost forgotten everything else. She had been focused only on her son. Only now does she remember that her own daughter is expecting a baby. Geet must be nearly three months pregnant by now.

Rano immediately starts thinking about Geet's baby shower.

This function has to be very grand.

Even during Geet's wedding, Rano had not been truly happy because her son was missing. But now Vicky has returned and the family is together again. This time, she will make sure the celebration is unforgettable.

Vicky must have missed family gatherings and happy occasions. This baby shower will be an opportunity for him to feel like a part of the family again.

After all, he is the mama, he has even greater responsibilities now.

It is his little sister's baby shower, and he must be excited about it too.

Rano looks at Vicky.

Rano: Vicky, I never thought I would see you again here in the Handa House.

Vicky: Me too, Ma. I never thought I would come back to Delhi again. It's all thanks to Geet.

Then he smiles.

Vicky: Actually, thanks to Geet and Annie. If Annie hadn't kept faith in me and had moved on with someone else, who would have brought me back? It is her love that brought me home.

Rano: You're right.

Annie, who has been listening nearby, blushes with happiness.

Even Dadi, standing in the kitchen, smiles. Rano also believes that Annie's love for Vicky is what brought him back.

Annie is overwhelmed with joy.

Rano: Vicky, Geet has done so much to bring you both together. Especially to bring you back home.

Vicky: I know, Mom. I am very grateful to her.

Rano: Then now is the time to show that gratitude.

Vicky: How, Mom?

Rano: You know Geet is pregnant.

Vicky is shocked.

Vicky: What? No one told me! This is wonderful news! I must congratulate her right away. I'll call Geet immediately.

Nearby, Gayatri ji, our Geet's dadi, overhears the entire conversation.

A confsed expression appears on her face.

She alone knows the truth.

Geet is not pregnant.

She thinks to herself:

"What is happening in this family? How will Geet handle all of this? She is trapped. Geet herself wouldn't even remember that she is supposedly pregnant, and now the entire family is talking about it."

Meanwhile, Vicky is excited.

Vicky: Mom, I'll call Geet and wish her right away.

Rano: That's exactly what I was talking about. And now we should start planning the baby shower.

Vicky: Yes, Mom.

Rano: Vicky, this entire responsibility belongs to you. You weren't there for Geet's wedding. Now it's your chance to show your little sister how much you care for her.

Vicky: I will, Mom. I've been waiting for an opportunity like this. I'll make it the best baby shower Geet could ever imagine.

Rano: That's my son. I knew you would do it. I missed you terribly at the wedding. I think Geet missed you too.

Dadi suddenly smiles mischievously.

Dadi: Vicky, I think Annie missed you the most.

Vicky: Really?

Annie immediately becomes embarrassed.

Annie: Dadi!

Dadi: Yes, yes. Annie was always thinking about you during your absence.

Everyone laughs.

For the first time in a long while, happiness fills every corner of the Handa House.

Vicky: Dadi, aap toh hamesha mazak hi karte ho

Dadi: bechara toh Geet ki batton mein aake khud bakra bangaya

Dadi: then there is a chance that they might come back this weekend

Ranno: so there is no time to wait, I will have to get her gifts, make Geet's favourite laddus, maaji you make the laddus, she likes it better

Annie: I will help you dadi

Dadi: ye sab toh teek Hai, but what about the baby shower?

Ranno: I will ask Geet's dad to talk to pandit ji again

Dadi: wait Ranno, let’s first go and see our daughter, then we will discuss with the Khuranas and decide

At Manali.....

Maan and Geet are finally ready to return.....

Geet is unusually silent from the morning...

Maybe ahe is not yet willing to end this vacation..

His vacations have only been his business trips.....

Maan had never felt such personal attachments with anyone, with Annie and Riya too he was bound by his brother duties...

However caringvhe might be, he could never open up his personal life even to Annie.

Annie being younger and naive to understand all his problems might also be a reason....

No one made that effort except Geet to make friendship with Maan, and no one else could get inside Maan's world like Geet....

The reason is simple, with everyone else Maan never gave them any chance....

His lost faith in human bonds and fear of getting hurt kept him away from emotional attachments.....

Geet's bond is so strong that even Maan couldn't pull away from it....

Geet kept him hooked with her one sided love and affection that it literally took little or no efforts from his side to make it unfathomable....

Geet is packing....

Maan keeps watching her....

She is strangely quiet....

Maan: Geet, are you alright? We might go to Nainital like you said, KC can wait another few days

Geet: hmm, no Maan, lets go home

They are blessed with the girl, Noor....

Noor is 5 years old...

She has become Maan's mother now....

Maan rests his head in her lap every night while she tells him bedtime stories...

Geet: Maan, Noor is waiting

Maan is on the phone with Adi, about the new project....

Noor: there are two buildings in this story, one big one like this much tall, the other one is very small, bus itna sa tha, small building is sad that he is so small, he wants to grow big,

Maan: ye kaise kahaani hai Geet

Geet: aur suno, bahut maza aayega aapko

Noor: small building calls Adi chachu and woh papa ko phone karte, phir papa usko bhi tall banathe hai

Geet: dekha, ye Hai appke Khurana Constructions ki kahaani, aap aaise hi phone pe baat karte raho toh ye school mein bhi yahi kahaani sunathi hogi

Maan pulls Noor and hugs her, he kisses her....

Maan: that's my girl, KC ki future MD, dekho Geet, meri training kaisi hai? mein father test mein pass ho gaya hoon, with flying colors, haina Noor?

Noor: yes papa

She kisses Maan...

Geet is just watching them from behind....

Maan pulls her into a big family hug....

Maan is happy to have become an ordinary family man.....

Geet is pregnant for real. Now she doesn't have to explain too much.

Maan has been totally converted. First by Geet and now by Noor.

Rano is finally happy too, along with Vicky and Annie. Riya has her father. A lot of peace and happiness all around.
