From Stone to Masterpiece, Carve Your Own Legacy

A message to every woman who is in despairsmiley31--- Within You Lies the Sculptor, the Stone, and the Statue!smiley10

Don't kill yourself... like, Twisha, Vismaya, Anissia, and Sanjusmiley19

Kill the weakness within, rise, and live to inspire others. Destroy your fears, not your life; stand tall and empower the world.
Keep shaping yourself and leave a lasting mark on human history!
Life will not come again, realise this and make it meaningful!

Oh, my dear womansmiley27....why do you want to end your life? You possess immense power, tirelessly uplifting mankind while bearing countless burdens and responsibilities. Is there any deity greater than you? Is there any treasure more valuable than you?

Come, Carve Your Destiny, Become Your Legacy!

In the grand creation of existence, you are not merely a participant... You are the very foundation upon which life stands!! You are the basic mould, the stone that withstands the storms of life! You are the sculptor who shapes destinies with patience and wisdom, and you are the statue that emerges as a masterpiece through your own struggles and sacrifices!! Realise your worth, death is not your destiny.

Hold the Chisel, Sculpt Yourself, Shape History!

Yes, there are moments when despair clouds the mind and suffering appears unbearable. Don't give up! To every woman who feels defeated, abandoned, or broken, remember this: you have a life of your own.😘

Create Yourself, Conquer the World!

Why surrender to darkness when you possess the strength to create LIGHT?

When the world tries to diminish you, do not forget your inner strength.

A woman is not merely an individual; she is a universe of possibilities!smiley20

A woman is not merely a part of the world...she is the origin from which civilizations are shaped!! So, rise with confidence. Celebrate your strength. Embrace your purpose. Continue saving yourself and those around you.

You are not merely a creation....you are the creator. Carve your own destiny from the rough edges of life, turn wounds into wisdom, and struggles into strength.

Life comes but once. Reassure yourself and rise above every storm, and leave your imprint upon time!

My dear woman, you are not merely a part of the world; you are its base, its melody, and its masterpiece!

Rape or physical abuse is never your fault. Do not sink over the footprints of a sinner; wash them away with courage, self-respect, and hope.

If a husband turns into a vulture, do not remain a helpless prey. Resist the abuse, reclaim your dignity, and walk away from a relationship that wounds your spirit.

Whether in an office, school, college, public place, or any corner of the world, if a predator threatens your peace, seek timely help and protect yourself. Remember, you are not the sinner....you are the giver of life, love, happiness, and fulfilment. You nurture dreams, shape generations, and carry the future of mankind within your womb...that is your strength.

Do not kill yourself, kill the weakness within. Rise like a phoenix, live with purpose, end the darkness within, and become a beacon of hope.

You are the foundation, the sculptor, and the masterpiece in making! Never die... give life to new generations. smiley10

Dowry deaths and suicides in India claim the lives of thousands of women annually, remaining a deeply rooted social crisis despite strict anti-dowry laws. The following cases highlight the severity of the issue, sparking national debates and legal action.

  • The Twisha Sharma Case (2026): In May 2026, the 33-year-old actor and model was found dead in her marital home in Bhopal just five months after her wedding. Her family alleged she was murdered and tortured by her husband and mother-in-law over dowry demands. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) took over the case and arrested the mother-in-law. [1]
  • The Vismaya Nair Case (2021): A 24-year-old Ayurveda student in Kerala tragically took her own life in 2021 following severe and documented physical abuse by her husband over gold and a car provided as dowry. The case became a catalyst for widespread state-level anti-dowry campaigns, resulting in the conviction of her husband for dowry death and abetment to suicide. [1, 2]
  • The Anissia Batra Case (2018): A 39-year-old Lufthansa airlines flight attendant died in New Delhi after leaping from her matrimonial home in an apparent suicide, which investigators probed as a dowry death. Her family reported a sustained history of physical and emotional abuse from her husband concerning dowry. [1]
  • The Sanju Bishnoi Case (2025): In Jodhpur, Rajasthan, a school teacher set herself and her three-year-old daughter on fire. She left a suicide note directly detailing the harassment and cruelty she faced from her husband and in-laws regarding dowry demands. [1]

Under the Indian Penal Code (now falling under Section 104 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita), a dowry death is classified as a crime where a bride dies within seven years of her marriage under unnatural circumstances, and evidence shows she was subjected to cruelty over dowry demands before her death. Despite these laws, victims often face immense hurdles in court due to prolonged trials and high systemic acquittal rates.

If you or someone you know is facing domestic abuse or harassment in India, support is available. You can reach out to the National Commission for Women (NCW) domestic violence helpline or utilize local legal resources provided by Sakhi Women's Resource Centre. [1]

We have a few courageous individuals who have left troubled marriages and abusive relationships to live life on their own terms and now shine as successful corporate women. Let us celebrate every woman who has forged a new path through adversity.smiley32

Thankyou for raising this important topic.

Dowry deaths have been one of the biggest challenges in our society for ages. It was easier to put that under carpet earlier

Madhu, your poem is a masterpiece carved from pain and resilience. It speaks to every woman who has felt despair, reminding us that we are not just creations but creators, sculptors, and legacies in the making.Your words shine like chisels breaking through stone, urging us to rise and live with purpose.

Reading it, I felt my own story echo. I was in a toxic relationship we both were toxic, both drowning in arguments and unrest. Ending it broke me, but it was necessary. It wasn’t worth the fight, the endless battles for peace. I had to put him to rest, and in doing so, I carved myself anew.(i never thought I could do this, but it happened)

And yet, the thought of suicide always lingers around women like shadows. But it is not the person worth dying for it is the mind, the brain, the surroundings that fail to provide a nurturing environment. A society that still struggles to accept that being alone is fine, that being a divorcee is normal, that a second marriage is not mandatory. This lack of normality suffocates hope.

But your poem reminds me life must go on. We must live not to surrender, but to be examples. To show that despair can be sculpted into strength, that wounds can become wisdom, and that survival itself is a legacy.Madhu, thank you for chiseling hope into words. Your poem is not just beautiful it is a call to rise, to breathe, and to live as proof that darkness can be defeated.

I feel deeply sorry for the suffering you endured, dear. Yet your story inspires because you dared to save yourself from a toxic relationship and choose a better life.smiley31

Thank you for sharing such a deeply personal and courageous reflection. What touched me most was your realization that ending a toxic chapter was not an act of defeat but an act of self-sculpting. Sometimes the bravest thing we do is walk away from what is breaking us, even when our hearts resist.

I also agree that many women do not battle a person alone; they battle judgment, loneliness, social expectations, and the fear of being different. Yet every woman who chooses life, dignity, and self-respect over despair becomes a beacon for others who are still struggling in the dark.

Your journey itself is proof that broken stone can become a beautiful sculpture. Thank you for sharing your strength and reminding everyone that healing is possible, renewal is possible, and a meaningful life is always worth choosing.
