Anupamaa: Ansh Ready for a Second Marriage; Ishani Publicly Confesses Her Love for Banku

Tonight's Anupamaa episode starts with Anupama questioning Leela for insulting the food and creating unnecessary drama. Ansh notices Leela's anger and asks her what is bothering her. Leela openly expresses her disapproval of Prerna and says she does not consider her a suitable match for Ansh.

When Anupama asks for a reason, Leela claims that Prerna has become a part of the Kothari family because she lived with them for a long time. Anupama immediately supports Prerna and refuses to judge her based on that connection. Leela warns that if Ansh marries Prerna, the Kotharis could become enemies of their family. However, Anupama reminds her that the Kotharis are not particularly close to them anyway. Leela further criticizes Prerna by saying that she is Rajni's daughter and will eventually reveal her true nature. Anupama strongly defends Prerna and refuses to accept Leela's accusations.

Ansh then tells Leela that he and Prerna genuinely care for each other and are happy together. Leela insists that she has the right to choose a bride for her grandson. Ansh points out that she never made similar decisions for the marriages of Anupama, Samar, Paritosh, Pakhi, or the other family members. Anupama also asks Leela to stop interfering in everyone's personal lives. Their argument intensifies, and suddenly a bulb bursts in the house. Paritosh jokingly blames the exploding bulb on the heated exchange between the two women.

Elsewhere, Vasundhara notices that Prem and Rahi seem comfortable with each other. Curious, Rahi asks Prem what he is reading so attentively. Prem reveals that he is carefully studying the rules of the café competition. Vasundhara wonders if Anupama's café failed to get selected. Rahi asks how she knows, and Vasundhara replies that Anupama would have celebrated by now if she had succeeded. Shruti joins the discussion and says such competitions are not easy to win. Prem becomes irritated and asks them not to talk about Anupama first thing in the morning.

Back at the Shah house, Ansh questions why nobody wants to see him happy. Meanwhile, Pakhi teases Prerna about her feelings for Prem. Ansh quickly counters by asking Pakhi about her own past feelings for Diwakar. Pakhi brushes it off and says that chapter is over, and Ansh remarks that Prem's chapter is over too.

Prerna emotionally requests Leela to accept her relationship with Ansh. Leela remains firm and continues to judge her because of Rajni. Prerna says she cannot change the family she was born into. Hasmuk comes forward to support Prerna, while Anupama once again tries to make Leela understand.

Pakhi then warns Leela not to listen to Anupama, claiming that otherwise she might even support a future alliance between Banku and Ishani. Anupama is shocked by the comment and asks Pakhi what she is talking about. Pakhi sarcastically remarks that Anupama always finds reasons to support everyone and would probably list countless benefits of such a match. To everyone's surprise, Ishani asks what would be wrong if she married Banku. Pakhi is stunned, while Ishani openly declares that Banku is a wonderful person and that she loves him.

The revelation leaves Pakhi furious. Unable to control her anger, she slaps Ishani. Paritosh also loses his temper and attacks Banku for loving his daughter. Pakhi continues to hit Ishani until Anupama intervenes and stops her. At that moment, Ishani asks Digvijay to reveal the truth to everyone.

Pakhi immediately accuses Digvijay of encouraging Banku's feelings for Ishani. Paritosh believes a secret plan has been going on behind their backs. Pakhi blames Digvijay for helping Banku get close to her daughter. Anupama asks Digvijay why he never informed the family earlier. Digvijay explains that the family was already dealing with many issues, and he never got the chance to discuss it.

Pakhi and Paritosh once again hold Anupama responsible for the situation. Kinjal advises Ishani to think carefully before making such an important decision. Ishani, however, questions whether Kinjal herself is truly happy with Paritosh. She says no relationship comes with a guarantee of happiness and insists on taking a chance for her own future.

Feeling unwanted, Banku decides to leave. Ishani refuses to let him go and announces that she will leave with him if necessary. She boldly declares her love and says Banku is the person she wants to spend her life with. Pakhi warns her against making such a decision, but Ishani remains determined and says she wants a new beginning with Banku.

Pakhi's anger reaches its peak, and she cuts all ties with Ishani. She orders her daughter to leave the house. Ansh, Kinjal, and Mahi try to stop Pakhi, but she refuses to calm down. Paritosh argues that Banku should be thrown out instead of Ishani. Leela then asks Anupama to manage the situation because Banku and Digvijay are staying as her guests.

To prevent the matter from worsening, Anupama asks Banku and Digvijay to leave for the café for the time being. Pakhi later tells Anupama to speak to Ishani and make her understand. She says that after everything she has suffered in her own life, she does not want her daughter to face similar heartbreak. Pakhi then asks Anupama if her concerns are really wrong, leaving everyone emotional as the episode comes to an end.

In the precap, Digvijay comforts Anupama as she wonders why problems never leave her life. While Pakhi and Paritosh decide to act before things get worse, Anupama tells Digvijay that she already has a plan. Later, Pakhi brings Vasundhara home and announces that she is supporting her, leaving Anupama shocked.
