Well ANUPAMAA has two biological children around and neither of them cares what she's called. In fact, they have called her name as insult themselves. And no one says Prem or Rahi are right. Both are on an ego trip fuelled by Shruti and is going to end up in a lot of trouble. But that does not make ANUPAMAA and her actions right. All this mess is her making. When she found out that she's inspection her son-in-law's business, she could have simply refused stating conflict of interest. That's what normal people do. But ANUPAMAA is neither normal nor sane. So she had create tamasha and then drag DIGVIJAY to Shah neighborhood to add fuel to fire. No party is innocent in this show and needs to be called out.
Wanted to share an analogy, which is why I am writing this post.
Phaltu Prem's celebration, even before the restaurant inspection was completed and before any of the issues were fixed, reminded me of an IPL 2013 match between CSK and RCB in Chennai.
In that match, RCB, powered by half-centuries from Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers, set CSK a target of 166. After a thrilling chase full of twists and turns, CSK needed 2 runs off the last ball to win.
Ravindra Jadeja guided the ball towards third man, and Virat Kohli took what looked like a straightforward catch. Believing the match was over, he immediately started celebrating RCB's victory. However, his celebration was cut short when the umpire signalled a no-ball. Since Jadeja had crossed for a run and RP Singh had overstepped by a huge margin, CSK were awarded the winning run and ended up winning the match.
Watching Phaltu Prem celebrate before the inspection was completed reminded me of Virat Kohli celebrating RCB's victory in that match before the game had truly ended.
I am not sure whether you watch cricket, but watching Phaltu Prem celebrate before the inspection was completed and before the problems were resolved felt very similar to that IPL 2013 moment. Both celebrations came before the final hurdle had been cleared. One was stopped by a no-ball, while the other still depended on the inspection report and the rule book.
