I love the Best Thing.
It is a promotional drama for Chinese medicine.
But still just soo good.
One of the best leads and so many healthy relationships around them too.
I loved this show. U will love it. Keep watchingOriginally posted by: beanstalk04
I was watching The Best Thing and I’m on episode 9. That confusion scene about the doctor’s son felt really funny to me, honestly. Overall, it’s quite good. This is my second drama of Zhang Linghe. I really liked his work in Pursuit of Jade, so I’m watching his other dramas as well

The way Chinese dramas show awareness about periods is truly amazing and deserves appreciation. For example, there’s a scene in episode 6 of The Best Thing, and I also saw it in Hidden Love. They have even shown conversations about sanitary napkins in my page in 90s. Overall, I really like this concept of how Chinese dramas create awareness around such topics.
Dr. He su yu's character is very interesting. I really liked his personality and the way he treats people.
Yes so true, its very much appreciated that they r doing awareness on health topics n medicines etc.Originally posted by: beanstalk04

That sofa scene in Episode 11 was honestly so cute and funny. The heroine was about to kiss him, and the moment was building up perfectly, but then everything got interrupted . the hero himself was pretending to be asleep the whole time. He clearly knew what was happening, yet still acted like he was sleeping, which makes it even more adorable
. And when the moment got ruined, his disappointed expression was priceless. Zhang Linghe portrayed that mix of shyness, hope, and frustration so perfectly that it made the whole scene even more cute

Dr. He Suye is just a green forest.
He is an amazing human, doc, bf, colleague.
He wasn't a typical cold hearted men who becomes warm after FL enters his life.
The day he set eyes on the FL, he was like I will make her fall in love with me, he was just such a shameless lover

I have watched his other dramas called Flourish in Time (High school) and Sparkle Love (college).
I watched it when it was released, I liked it back then, Idk if I will love it anymore
.
But you guys can try watching it. He was such a baby back then.
Flourish in Time (2021) is just a pure story between the leads, I think, except for one or two hugs, where he holds FL like a baby; you will get nothing more, as it is all about HS. But he was just such a green flag there too.
Sparkle in Love (2020)is set in college; it is about how FL's shock makes him fall in love with her
, it can be cringe, and I don't remember correctly, but it was a fun drama.
