She went in carriage,wore dress and came out as general..how stupid they can be..

@leprechaun clearly explained how in novel ,xie zheng helped her learn with military materials and studies and trained her before she directly went to battlefield..

My first costume drama was story of kunning palace ..no matter how many people say they dislike it, make fun of camera angles, i still love it 😆 nothing mattered to me..i totally get it 😂😭 they served best ending and it is still favorite

By the way, Swathi, have you watched Love Between Lines? If not, then you should watch it. After episode 4, it becomes really enjoyable. It’s a good show I didn’t find even a single episode boring. I even watched it in repeat mode. It’s a modern drama.

I’m watching it again, and in every episode there are small comedy scenes included within the dialogues, which I find really entertaining. The ‘spiritual tablet’ scene was especially funny in episode 3, she takes the hero to his own spiritual tablet to pray. There, she says something like, ‘My husband and I will pray for you,’ and at that moment the hero starts coughing.

@swathi, I liked it up to episode 29, but after that the story feels a bit rushed. They could have extended it by a few episodes. But overall, I really enjoyed this series

In the novel he wore the same mask and came for Fan Changyu's reinforcement when he shouldn't be present there (as Marquis Wu'an should be holding his post somewhere else). So she clearly knows it was Xie Zheng who cared for her in the mountains. But she didn't know he performed gusha(skin scraping technique) on her.

I read from: Chasing Jade (Zhu Yu) I think the Wattpad link you posted is better since it has chapter titles too. This one doesn't.

Let's just hope Xie Zheng would have told her one day about him saving her by performing gusha but just not in the timeline we know.

The whole camp scene was exaggerated for nothing in the drama imo. The grain hunt was cut, bear hunting was cut, and changed to some lousy jail break and threatening the rival army to 'submit' their provisions. Fake marquis scene which never happened in the novel - imo those scenes looked more fake than real. And the Princess was never on the battlefield, it was another female apprentice. But with the changes made, we got a proper GSY - QS track which was not in the novel. Coming back to what I wanted to say the emotional manipulation in the camp was the result of the changes they made. In the novel Xie Zheng was fuming inside knowing that she went to loot grains from the enemy camp but couldn't show it cuz he's playing the pitiful hubby in front of her she bought him fur cloak and salt for cooking, who could say she broke the rules she was just reprimanded.

And according to Chinese novel logic, the effect of aprodisiac can be supressed with loss of blood. He was cut, he deepened it to play sober for those few mins. Again in the novel there was no grand fair. The scene was set in the dark and he played a drunk man who accidentally tripped and fell into the water constantly leaning on Fan Changyu the whole time (which is more believable) SIGHHHH

The author wrote the Marquis character really well. He is someone who would go crazy for Fan Changyu but he also knows his priorities and the weight of his responsibilities. So according to Xie Zheng FCY would be safe with Li Huaian's team rather than with himself, who's constantly out there fighting.

Plus Xie Zheng is worthy of his name and title, idkw the drama didn't have any fight scenes for him. They just show one move and scene cut! Someone even asked if Xie Zheng got the title Marquis of Wu'an as his birthday gift and from the drama perspective, it looks like that only.

@bold - Say about this 😆..a general who did not fight much in show..he was mostly wounded in show 😂😂 i was like even legend of female general had much better fight scenes..here he is simply lying all the time..

Also there was a thread in reddit where a user explained drama in detail as they had missed many scenes in drama..the explanation user gave for him to be in his consciousness even after getting drugged is wild 😝
