The biggest legacy entertainer family in Bollywood are the Kapoors. Almost everyone is a superstar or a famous actor. Yet everyone is called Bebo, Lolo, Dabboo, Chintu etc so nothing wrong with Munni

It’s got more convoluted plots than them for sure. Lots of steamy scenes and scandalous scenes too. I can’t imagine half of those things in Rishta lest they want to plan a sequence where the matriarch and/or patriarch of the current generation are to be killed because of the sheer shock of the situation and make a Pikachu shocked face while at it.

Also unlike Rishta, Grey’s actually does have its moments of brilliance. There are characters that you genuinely love and care about as well as dislike.

The show manages to stay relevant despite being over 20 seasons old because they do know how to switch things up and make them interesting but the fatigue has settled in and that’s the issue. It’s why a lot of the OG cast has quit. They’re tired of playing the same characters for so long.

Rishta had to keep on introducing new generations to stay relevant and on air. With Greys the same lead has kept the show going for 20 plus years now. We saw her going from a young girl fresh out of medical school starting her first day as intern in her early 20s to now a 40 plus woman who has loved and lost so many, who has gotten married, had children, got widowed. So in that way props to Greys over Rishta any day because it’s a feat to showcase someone’s life’s journey through the years.
