Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhira's life in danger as she gets trapped inside a locked room

Tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode starts with Abhira informing Armaan that Sanjay has torn apart Malhotra's important case file. Armaan says they will patiently arrange all the pieces again and rebuild the file. Worried about his health, Abhira asks him not to overwork himself. Armaan tells her that she is his biggest priority. Abhira decides to handle the work alone so he can rest.

Meanwhile, Maira and Mukti step forward to help Abhira and Armaan. Abhira gets emotional seeing their support and worries that they are ignoring their studies. However, Maira and Mukti assure her that they have already finished studying and can help without any problem. As they continue working, Abhira asks Maira to remind Armaan to take his medicine. Maira admits that she forgot, making Abhira decide to continue the work from home. Armaan says there is still a lot left to finish, but Abhira firmly tells him that his health comes before anything else.

Watching the bond between Abhira and Armaan, Maira feels touched by the love and care they have for each other. She starts dreaming about finding a life partner who loves her the same way. Mukti teases her for dreaming too much, but Maira replies that there is nothing wrong with having beautiful dreams.

Later, Armaan and Abhira return home, where Sanjay hands them an envelope. He sarcastically remarks that it could be a payment from the client they allegedly snatched away. After reading the documents, Armaan and Abhira keep their contents secret despite the Poddar family's curiosity.

Elsewhere, Aryan learns that Disha is expecting a baby. Disha asks if he is happy with the news and whether he has forgiven her. Aryan says he will respect her because she is carrying his child. Disha then requests the Poddar family to bless her unborn baby, and they agree.

Back home, Abhira once again reminds Armaan to take his medicine. Armaan complains that it tastes bitter and tries to avoid it. To lighten the mood, he suddenly scares Abhira by pretending there is a rat nearby and pulls her close, leaving her startled.

On the other hand, Sanjay tries to create misunderstandings by telling Vidya that Abhira became so busy with work that she forgot to give Armaan his medicine on time. Concerned for Armaan, Vidya begins doubting Abhira.

Soon, Madhav arrives with a parcel for Abhira. She discovers information about an important witness in Malhotra's case but is also warned to stay away from the matter. Vidya urges her to drop the case for everyone's safety. However, Abhira refuses to give up and remains determined to fight for justice.

Vidya then blames Abhira for neglecting Armaan's health, but Armaan immediately defends his wife. Realising that she misunderstood the situation, Vidya apologises. Abhira tells her that similar misunderstandings have happened before and asks her to speak to her directly whenever she has doubts instead of believing others, just as misunderstandings had separated them eight years ago. Vidya accepts her mistake and promises both Armaan and Abhira that she will not repeat it.

In the precap, while Armaan, Abhira and Madhav continue working on Malhotra's case, someone secretly locks Abhira inside a room. As Armaan desperately searches for her, Abhira loses consciousness.
