Pooja has died 8 years ago per this leap and because Hemant wants a late 30s, early 40s Vrinda to move on in her life again she asks him - her Kaka Sasur who is supposed to be at least 70-80 years of age, why can’t he take his own advice and move on from his now dead wife of over 3 decades… you know, as a man who has a grandson who has a child aka Hemant is a great-grandpa.

It’s the most natural thing in the world for a 40 year old to ask a 80 year old who might not survive the next 80 hours for all he knows, to move on again at this age.
