Television actress Dalljiet Kaur has been through a difficult journey in her personal life. The actress was first married to actor Shalin Bhanot, with whom she has a son, Jaydon. The two parted ways in 2015 after Dalljiet accused him of domestic abuse, allegations that Shalin denied. Years later, she found love again and married Kenya based businessman Nikhil Patel in March 2023. However, the marriage ended within months after the actress returned to India. Their separation played out publicly, with both making serious allegations against each other. Looking back at everything she has experienced, Dalljiet recently opened up about her thoughts on love and relationships during a conversation with Pinkvilla.
During the interview, Dalljiet was asked how she would react if someone genuinely confessed their love to her. In response, the actress admitted that she does not want to be in love anymore and explained why the meaning of love has changed for her after everything she has witnessed.
When asked what will her reaction be if someone comes to her and tells her that they are in love. Dalljiet replied, "I don't want to be in love with anyone. Love itna underrated hai mere liye. Maybe... I'll say never say never. Chalo, ho sakta hai 15 20 saal baad, jab main 60 70 ki ho jaaun. Shayad. But is waqt, love maine itne frivolous tareekon se dekha hai ki.''
''Kya matlab, aap 45 46 saal ke ho aur aapko ladkiyan matlab ekdum dhoom dhaam karke leke gaye, aur wahan aap doosri ladki ke chakkar mein ho. Kya kar rahe ho matlab? What? You're not even 20. Main toh 20 walon ko bhi bolti hoon aaj kal zyada sensible bachche hain," she further says.

Continuing her thoughts, Dalljiet said, "The young generation actually is more sensible. Kyunki jo hamari generation hai, woh unfortunately raised galat hai. Kyunki unko un sensibility mein bada kiya gaya ki, 'Aap toh mard ho. Aap toh sher ho. Sher baccha ho.' Ye rubbish sun sun ke bade hue hain aur unko actually galatfahmi ho gayi ki woh sher hain."
Laughing, she added, "Unko galatfahmi ho gayi ki woh pata nahi kya alag hi praani hain kyunki woh ek aadmi hain. Toh jo bhi sensibility ki galat baseline maine dekhi hai na, mujhe itna frivolous lagne lag gaya hai ye word, love, pyaar, mohabbat. Oh my God. Family pehle lao table par. Insaaniyat pehle lao table par. Respect lao table par. Phir baat karo. It's just that, yeah."
