Yes the ML was definitely problematic. I had read he was worse in the actual novel. He was one of the rapist and is forced to marry the girl & treats her horribly even after marriage. There was a lot of opposition to this drama in Turkey when they announced it but the makers assured the public they are making some changes to the novel and well, they did make changes but it was still problematic.

Vikram is not my idol or anything first saw him in PS1 and loved him!! I have only seen PS1 & PS2 of his....and Deiva Thirumagal in which he plays an autistic man who has to win custody of his daughter after her grandfather takes her away from him. Wonderful movie & great acting by both father-daughter and an interesting trivia is that the girl who played his daughter in that movie played Aishwarya's character Nandini's younger self in PS1. The movie was remade in Hindi too, it was called Main Aisa Hi Hoon with Ajay, Esha, Sushmita.

Baramulla the movie is a thriller spooky mystery . Baramulla, as a town ,has a scenic landscape with snow capped mountains and an eerie grey white mist in the air ... DOP in the movie has captured it beautifully .

It starts with the story of disappearing kids and a haunted house . The end climax is gripping and poignant ... Both the main lead actors ie Manvir kaul and bhasha sumbli have played their roles extremely well without being over the board .

The silence in the moments, the eerie scares slowly crawl on you as the story progresses ...

I found it a bit different from your run of the mill horror stories ...The movie leaves a message ...
