Gauahar Khan calls Zaid Darbar her winner after Alliance finale: 'Champion and forever winner

The first season of Prime Video's Alliance concluded with an emotional finale as contestants reunited with their families after spending weeks away from home. Among the most talked about moments was Gauahar Khan reuniting with her husband Zaid Darbar after 45 days. The actress shared a heartfelt video on social media, capturing the emotional moment as the couple embraced each other following the show's end.

The video showed Gauahar welcoming Zaid with a warm hug as he walked out of the Alliance set. Soon after, Zaid's sister, Anam Darbar, also embraced him and later posted an emotional message reflecting on his journey in the reality show.

Sharing her thoughts, Anam wrote, "Zaidu… what a journey. For your very first reality show, standing alongside such experienced people, you never looked out of place. You stood tall, you stayed true to yourself, and you shined every single step of the way."

She went on to describe Zaid as a winner regardless of the final result and said he had made the family proud. In her note, she added, "This is only the beginning, and we know this is your time to shine even brighter." Calling him their "hero, champion and forever winner," she concluded the post by writing, "We love you. So proud of you, Zaidu."

Reacting to Anam's message, Gauahar also left a heartfelt comment for her husband. She wrote, "Head held high my Jaan."

Earlier in the season, Gauahar had spoken publicly about Zaid's elimination and praised the way he handled it. She recalled him saying, "Mujhe pata hai mera apna to nahi kiya hoga," before he eventually learnt who had betrayed him in the game.

Reflecting on his journey, Gauahar became emotional and said, "It's beyond me," while talking about his loyalty. According to the actress, Zaid could have strengthened his position in the competition by turning against fellow contestant Kushal Tandon. However, he chose not to, valuing the friendship they had built during the show over the game.
