Most of them were multi-starter. I don’t know about the choice but I think that’s the only offer she got and she had no other options than to choose them to save her career. I feel she had great potential to make big like PC but I guess producers didn’t use her the right way.

Lucky always play big part, PC got lucky when she got a chance to do Aitraaz, she got more opportunity after it, She Got Don which put her in top charts, the rest is history. she could have ended just like Lara without those roles.

She is extremely intelligent, well-spoken and articulate, but as far as acting chops go, I found her very mediocre. I think people confuse her strong off-screen persona with "acting talent".

Also, she said in many interviews that she sees acting more as a paying job that helps her earn a living, rather than something she is ambitious about. That her ambitions are more varied and bigger than just being a Bolly actress.

In short she lacked ambition and drive.
