Very fair point. I guess they’re all continuing the tradition.

But the key point here is TALENT

Zouya got immense talent

and none of these nepo actor Gen z or millennial kids got any talent, still they r getting plum after plum projects, not letting any outstanding talent from outside in main big budgeted commercial cinema and making it fail since last many years and yet getting more chances.

Oh those statements weren’t a defense of this nepotism, just an observation. Since Salman, KJo, and Zoya themselves are products of nepotism they probably don’t see it as an issue.

Is Zoya really talented? Or she’s just been lucky with good artists and good stories? Because Archie’s sucked.

Yes, imo, Zoya is talented...but she is quite westernized...and probably making a movie out of the comics' characters seemed a good idea to her partner, her brother and herself when there was the wish to launch three of the star-kids, but not with Dharma/Karan...

However, they made a movie whose story mostly didn't 'click' with the Indian audience...and I've the feeling that even the young actors/actresses had difficulties to relate to their characters (except Mihir Ahuja = Jughead, whose character was the best designed one and who already had some experience with acting in front of a camera). To some extend also Vedang's character was interesting. But the characters of Veronica, Elizabeth and Archie were poorly designed making Veronica too superficial and the other two quite boring (my perception after a repeated watching and discussing the movie with some friends and their kids who had no idea about the Hindi filmindustry background). Still, I felt that the young ensemble cast acted according to the scope they got from the script and direction.

An I won’t even mention I always knew this about her and her type of friends from day 1. No need to even mention that 😂

Does OTT count? If so, then Junaid Khan's start is not disastrous considering Maharaj as his debut, and he was fine there. Then Ishaan's movie Dhadak was also a hit and afterwards he didn't do much projects, so it's too early to judge him, he is just being steady and doing some OTT projects right now including his upcoming show 'The Royals', which seems to be a promising one. So even if they perform well in the OTT platform, they will end up bagging good roles in the movie projects as well.

I will also blame the taste of Indian audience, they still prefer those masala movies and rom-com movies, that's why the nepokids try too hard to fit in those roles even when they have the potentials to do something out of the stereotype roles. Even the outsiders are struggling with their projects because of the lack of sensible plots. And nepotism is never gonna end since it's the easier way to earn for the nepokids, so even if they can't act, they can earn a handsome 'salary' just coz they feature in a film!

Nepotism also creates a sense of security in BW. It helps to filter out a lot of the negative OUTSIDE jealous energy!

Do you know SRK is technically an outsider, but not his kids? smiley4

Lol. Nope. It will continue from Dharma productions and even dharmatic. Kjo loves the industry kids too much to stop it.

I can’t open the full article so I’m going with that headline here.

She wants to make the my money my business argument? OK then. Who are you, Zoya, to tell regular people whom to troll or not troll on their own social media account with their own devices and their own paid for networks? And who are you to dismiss other people’s arguments as banal? That reeks of arrogance and snobbery.
