As I don't understand Hindi, I guess that they did banter about the re-releasing of (SRK) movies and named Guddu several times with the audience laughing

Yes, they "should" have but the work for distributing them overseas costs time and money and I suppose that spending money isn't the intent of Rakesh Roshan and Subhash Ghai... given the sad state of their production houses, they may just want to get some cash and then sell the movies to RedChillies... as for Dharma, I don't know if Karan still has this pull overseas... I genuinely hope for a re-release abroad...

So, how did these re-releases turned out to give money to the producers???

Interesting - to me at least - that SRK gave a tweet to Veer Zaara and Karan Arjun but not to KHNH and Pardes re-releases...
