Till now in every other platforms Bilal is seen as a character who is one side lover just like his previous characters (except for fans). Coincidentally or not wahaj is playing one side lover characters in his shows back to back.

Strictly my opinion. Let’s respectfully agree to disagree.

A hit Pakistani drama usually checks all the boxes: high TRPs, big YouTube views, social media buzz (good or bad), a solid OST, and great performances. By that standard, SMD is doing fine—maybe the TRPs aren’t breaking records, but they’re decent enough. So why is it already being called a flop when we’re only a third of the way through? If that’s the case, what about dramas like ZNKB (low YouTube views), Nadaan (neither views nor TRPs), Mann Jogi or Kuch Ankahi? Are they flops too? Obviously not. So why harp on SMD endlessly?

Honestly, as viewers, why do we even care about whether a show is a hit or a flop? The real question should be- does it work for me?Whether it’s a profitable venture or not is something only the producers know—not us or anyone on Twitter.

As a Wahaj fan, I’d take him as Bilal in SMD over roles like Ahmed in Idiot, Nadaan or Hamza in JeJwhere he barely has room to perform. Sure, I have issues with SMD too (the pacing, the side characters taking too much screen time), but Bilal and Sadaf make it worth it for me. They’re delivering.

Take last episode’s scenes where they weren’t even in the same frame—so subtle n beautifully done. I can’t wait to see how their story unfolds. Wahaj’s acting just gets me—the way Irfan Khan, Fahadh Faasil, and Dhanush do. It’s the eyes, I swear!

I even tried Yumna’s new show yesterday, and it felt way too cliche, so I dropped it. Simple as that. It either clicks with you, or it doesn’t. Why force yourself to sit through something you don’t like? Watch what works for you and let the rest go!

Views are one of the sources of revenue so they do matter. Ratings of course matter more

Ratings can be tweaked too tbh and if they indeed were buying views then they would have bought more views. 😭😂

Tbh the show has an audience. The comment section of the episodes are where one can find what the audience thinks those who are watching it online.
