yeh bhi har season hi hota hai. people get too invested in their favs phir members pe indirect vague posts shuru hojate hain because of disagreements. like you said, it's part of bb culture and it's not meant to be taken personally. it's just a show. dekho, enjoy karo, move on. don't let it bog you down personally (generally speaking for everyone). i personally don't care for any contestant in any season. i make fun of everyone because they all take turns being annoying and that's my way of watching bb. by the end of the season, i'll usually have made fun of everyone. per kisi k fav k barey mein kuch bhi kaho to they assume you're automatically in some other fandom

They do that only for the final month.

Before that it is heavily tilted towards social media engagement (Insta, X, YT).

In the last few weeks they do surveys, with random sample of 10000 fans across urban cities (rural very few). People are asked to rank their top 5.
