Rohit and Abhira are not the same. There are similarities but it's not same.
Abhira did NOT give clean chit to Ruhi. But she did agree with the fact that she was led on, given hope of Armaan dumping Ab to be with her etc. She has literally seen that happen and it was factually correct. So she realized that if Armaan had never told Ruhi about deal shaadi, Never told her that he would divorce Ab etc maybe she'd never have interfered. She saw the hug in hut but now knows chitwaali was Ruhi. She saw the intimate dance where Armaan forgot her. She was NOT privy to all those private conversations where Armaan did tell Ruhi her to move on or to Ruhis delusional talks now where she still wants to get back with Armaan. Nor is Abhira privy to shiv shakti type weak moments. Based on her understanding of everything, Abhira was correct in how she confronted Armaan and eventually when she calmed down she did acknowledge that he ended things after his shaadi to her but because they were around each other- ummeed thi, kuch equation raha instead of properly moving on. But ultimately she forgave and decided to give him a chance
But if Rohit is confronting, he essentially heard Armaan tell Ruhi to move on and is seeing now that Armaan is in love with Ab, Ab who supposedly suffered same dhokha as him is defending Armaan for a reason , so he cannot react like Abhira. He has a lot more info available. Infact full family knows about Ar-Ruhi past. V was trying to get them married infact đ so his reaction looks stupid. If this reaction came when he first learned of things, would be ok. But he's coming after months to rake up old things now , not realizing how much things have changed. Not contacting rest of the family, letting them assume he's dead is ridiculous.
